Hecate likes to wear clothes right out of dark academia & fantasy. Ne likes dark colors and jewel tones and wears a lot of celestial and cartomancy symbols in nyr jewelry. Ne has half-moon glasses with a golden chain.

Personality

Hecate is generally quiet and polite to those ne doesn’t know very well, maintaining a sense of distance between nemself and nyr customers at the library. When people ask for book recommendations, ne lights up and is happy to explain all ne knows on the subject, bridging that emotional distance.

With nyr friends that boundary barely exists. Ne loves having genuine fun with them and eagerly awaits any plans ne makes with nem.

Ne takes nyr craft—divination through silvertongue magic—very seriously and with a great deal of forethought and organization.

Story

Hecate was created by Noot well after the fall of heaven. After their creation, they wandered the multiverse for a while before settling in a quaint little village, where they met other Daitens like Love Potion and Primrose, as well as a bunch of people of other species!

They quickly set up shop as a librarian when they realized the town lacked such a thing, and they’ve been having the time of their life reading about the world around them.

Relationships

Love Potion [ best friend ]

Hecate & Love Potion visit each other from time to time, mostly when Love Potion comes to town to sell xyr wares. They share a love of magic and reading!

Primrose [ roommate / assistant ]

Primrose is Hecate's assistant librarian, but they're also roommates! They hang out in low-key ways most of the time, just vibing in the same room.
