"ooooh hello" the little mantis girl winked. "You are soooo big and yellow." She looked up at Sis. "May I ask who built you, I've never seen such a big robot. Your battery display is constantly changing, is that wanted or a bug in your programming?" Lin pulled a face like she was worried. "You look so friendly. I think everyone would love to be friends with you"
"Big and Yellow!" The robot repeats those words, as if she's hearing them for the first time. "Big and yellow...!" The next question snaps her out of her fascination with the words. "Oh! Oh!! Blaire did!" She makes a circle shape with her finger. "So she can live somewhere nice!" The next question catches Sis off guard, "A bug?? What is that?" Not only does Sis not know what bugs are, since she's so big, but she was never told about her changing battery displays... when in reality Ruth didn't know which one she liked the most, so she did them all.
"Friendly? Me?" Sis's smile grows as she moves down to look at Lin closely, "You look friendly too! We could be friends, if you wanted! And you can be my first!!"
Lin hesitated with her answer. "If you have an error in your programming or in your system that's called a bug. I just thought because your battery display is always changing, that you might have an error. Maybe you can ask your developer why it is like that. She can give you an answer for sure." The little mantis girl smiled up to sis. The big robot impressed her. She had never seen anything so big and interesting.
"OOOOOOOOhhhh!" Sis's response is long and drawn out, as if she was understanding it as she said it. "That is very interesting! Maybe I will ask, so she can get rid of the bug!" Wow! Sis's grin grows wide, learning was so much fun! She knew what a bug was now!! Sis will reach down to carefully pick up Lin, careful not to crush her in any way, and lift her to Sis's face. "Thank you so much!! You really are the best friend I got!!"
