Jericho Setsuna

Jericho is an experiment in how far a person's natural powers can be expanded. Sure, there are witches, who pioneer new forms of magic and have many skills and abilities, but those are all still natural.

Jericho's power was regeneration and healing. Nothing huge, but he could heal himself and others a bit faster than usual, and can repair usually permanent things and conditions. He lived with his younger sister, Alcmene, with a fairly bad financial situation. 

That is, until he was approached by a scientist who called herself Carita. 

She offered him money in exchange for him becoming the subject of their experiments. He quickly agreed, thinking only about the welfare of his sister. He was moved to their facility for the experiments, which were generally a success. He could no longer die, he had a heightened pain tolerance, and he could heal himself and others at a near instantaneous rate. But something about him seemed rather off. He was sad and stressed and didn't seem to get better. He was released from their care but that didn't help. Carita's humane side began to get to her. She started to befriend Jericho, only for him to reveal that he'd always been like this, but no longer had the energy to hide it. No longer had the energy for anything. Suspecting it was a result of the experiment, Carita now resides in Jericho and Alcmene's home, studying Jericho and trying to find ways to fix both his emotional problem, stress problem, and energy problem.

As a person though, Jericho is a sweetheart. He's shy and quiet but he's incredibly kind to others and will go out of his way to help you if he can. He's prone to feeling guilty for nothing or for things he didn't do or wasn't his fault. He's a pacifist, and refuses to hurt anything. He's easily frightened, but fiction never really gets to him.
