Mrs. Cuddles is an enigma--she presents as an intriguing blank slate upon first meeting her. However, her serene countenance hides a major trauma history--one that has led her to experience much anguish. For a time, this aspect of her being overtook her personality, but nowadays, she is beginning to see that life can be joyous, and to become compassionate and cheerful as a result. Mrs. Cuddles has only scant memories of her early life, but she can recall a few things--a polar landscape, beings carrying guns and whips, a steel cage... It is unclear how much time she spent in captivity, or what exactly went on while she was in that state, but one thing is clear: she eventually escaped, and the circumstances surrounding the event were likely very unpleasant for her captors. Upon obtaining her freedom, Mrs. Cuddles wandered in a dissociative state in the Las Vegas desert before luckily being rescued by her future friends Abigail and Poofelle. Nowadays, Mrs. Cuddles has returned to work as a professional makeup artist for Las Vegas show performers and is striving to build a happy life for herself with her 3 best friends.
Poofelle is Abigail's best friend, and thus she quickly came to Abigail's aid in tending to Mrs. Cuddles when Abigail first found her. Poofelle is a showgirl, and can come across as a "bimbo," but is actually quite intelligent, loyal, and motherly. Mrs. Cuddles recognizes this, and now views Poofelle as her main attachment figure. She would do anything to defend Poofelle, which makes Poofelle feel honored and secure.
Penelope befriended Mrs. Cuddles and her companions when she moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in order to pursue her dream of becoming a professional gambler. Mrs. Cuddles was uncertain as to what to think of Penelope at first--she is a bundle of energy who loves getting up to mischief! However, Penelope also has a kind heart and makes friends easily, and so she soon won Mrs. Cuddles over. Mrs. Cuddles now considers Penelope worthy of her protection--which is fortunate for Penelope, as she can sometimes get herself into trouble!
