Molly

Molly can be rather shy--they feel as if they are socially awkward, and this can cause them to hold back. However, they are also very brave and willing to embrace new experiences. They have a kind soul, as well, and do their best to help others to feel more comfortable. Hopefully someday their self-esteem will catch up with their abilities! Molly hails from a distant planet called Zorp, and it was there that they grew up. Their brilliant mind made them a natural for advanced studies, and when they chose the field of anthropology, it was a logical next step for them to travel to Earth to learn more about its inhabitants. Although initially trepidatious, Molly ultimately made the journey, along with their beloved cousin Ollie, to the blue planet. They are now beginning to settle in and to enjoy the new company they have found there.
Zachary is an extraterrestrial from another planet, Ploofonia, who has coincidentally traveled to Earth to study the history of their species' interaction with humans. There they encountered Molly, having by chance landed in the same area. Zachary is cheerful, inquisitive, and a good listener, and so they and Molly have quickly become friends. Molly and Zachary are now working to combine their respective fields of study in order to benefit both of their home planets.
Hoagy is an Earthling--he is an astronaut who was sent into space many decades ago and who crash-landed in Molly's study environment, leading the two to meet. Hoagy appealed to Molly right away--he is brave, outgoing, and has a fine sense of humor. They were bashful around him at first, but his kindness ultimately brought up their level of confidence around him. Hoagy, recognizing Molly's uncertainty about Earth, is protective of them, and keeps them under his wing.
Ollie is Molly's cousin, and the two have been close since they were very small. Each was delighted when the other chose to study the sciences, and were even happier when they made the joint decision to travel to Earth together. Ollie is highly knowledgable about botany, their field of study, and eager to share their knowledge--as well as their generous heart--with everyone they meet. Molly looks up to Ollie, and feels much more at home given the fact that they have come with them on their journey.
Lala is an Earthling who made friends with Hoagy and Zachary when they came to Earth, and so they introduced her to Molly. She is full of energy, starry-eyed, and loyal--Molly found it hard not to like her! Lala and Molly quickly bonded, with Lala helping Molly to understand the idiosyncracies of modern Earth. Molly hopes to repay her someday by bringing her to Zorp to visit.
