Personality
Biography
Noe was raised in a very emotionally detached family. He has an older brother but no one really talks to him or cares about what he has to say in his household, so he got used to staying by himself and never having the courage to start a conversation with his classmates, which left him without any friends for a few years. And the fact that he glares at everyone who is having fun, because he's jealous he doesn't get to do that doesn't make him any more approachable.
Eventually he managed to befriend some of his classmates, which greatly improved his mental health. He managed to get a girlfriend and his dream job as a lurker, but after new people were introduced to their lurker team he felt like everything was ruined. His biggest goal and pleasure in life was his job, but now he had "intruders" in his most sacred place. This ruined him mentally and after throwing a few tantrums he fell into a depressive episode. Suddenly human interaction was exhausting and that combined with the guilt of his friends having to deal with him when he's like that made him distance himself from them.
Fortunately things cleared up sooner rather than later with this as well. Noe still struggles with his depression, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, but knowing he has his son keeps him from doing drastic stuff because the most important thing for him is to be there for Rose and give him a good life.
Arsène
[ older brother ] Arsène used to tease Noe a lot when they were younger. It is his way of expressing his affection towards Noe, but Noe hates it and thinks his brother is lame and annoying.
Leo
[ best friend; colleague ] Leo was the first person to approach Noé and want to befriend him, which made Noé like him immediately. He's still too shy to seek Leo's company and attention by himself, but is very happy when Leo hangs out with him.
Lapis
[ best friend and boyfriend ] At first Noé didn't care about Lapis at all. He was only interested in being Leo's friend, but after spending some time with Lapis it turns out Noé finds him very entertaining and fun to be around. They were best friends for a long time while Noe was dating Cecilia, but he developed special feelings for Lapis which made him very confused. Eventually Lapis told him he wants to be his boyfriend and Noe couldn't say no so he broke it off with Cecilia.
Feodor 
[ friend? ] Feo and Noé started hanging out only because of Leo, who is dating Feo, but they get along relatively well. Although Noe is sometimes rude to him, because he feels Feo doesn't deserve Leo.
Cecilia
[ ex-girlfriend ] Their relationship started only because of a stupid accident which Noe hade to make up for, but since he had a crush on her in 9th grade he took the opportunity to date her with open arms and was excited to have a chance in a relationship with her. They actually got along very well and Noe really liked her. He was hoping to marry her some day and have a family, but only the second part became true since he accidentally made her pregnant.
Onyx
[ colleague, friend and classmate ] Noe and Onyx didn't talk much before, but after joining the same lurker team they grew a bit closer and Noe considers Onyx a friend, especially after Onyx risked his life to save Noe's once.
Vesa
[ teammate/colleague ] Noe find Vesa a little bit annoying. He tries to be nice to him but sometimes can't help but show his annoyance towards Vesa which always saddens Vesa.
Amethyst
[ teammate, leader, brother figure ] Noe and Ame are colleagues and Ame was hired to be their team's leader. As Noe isn't very open to new people having him and Wacian suddenly become a part of their team wasn't accepted well by Noe. He kept being rude to both Amethyst and Wacian, but his anger is more focused on Ame, because he reminded him of a "more annoying and more successful version of himself." Eventually with the help of others they managed to bond and Ame is now one of Noe's most important people.
Wacian
[ teammate/ colleague ] Wacian was hired to help Noe's team during their trips into the dark zone, but since Noe isn't fond of having unknown people around him in his inner circles he didn't treat Wac very well at first.
Quartz
[ father figure ] The same way Noe adopted Ame as his older brother, he also adopted Quartz as his father during the time he lived with him and Lapis.
Rose
[ son ] The only reason Noe is still living is his son Rose. Noe would do absolutely everything for him.
