Ashley

Ashley is an Aquatic Chimereon and a singer. She's 5'7" and has a curvy physique. A former child star, her once bubbly personality turned cynical after mistreatment from the industry. She still sings, taking on independent gigs in night clubs, casinos, and smoky bars. These days, she favors jazz over pop. Sometimes, she meets pretty ladies in those venues and takes them home with her.

She has a flirtatious, yet sardonic exterior, though anyone who gets close to her will see that she's rather sensitive, vulnerable, and wounded. She has a warm, loving side that she'll show anyone she becomes very personally familiar with.

In her youth, Ashley was a popstar, a glamorous idol. From her teens to her early twenties, she would sing and dance for the masses and landed plenty of record deals. Her music made it high onto the charts and she was a household name. Anyone who's seen her dance and sing on stage might get the impression that she's lived a thrilling life, but that's far from the truth. Pressure from her parents lead to her putting a comfortable, happy, safe childhood aside for the sake of fame.

As she grew older and matured, she became more open about her distaste for the music industry and the damage it did to her. She decided to stop making public appearances and developed a tougher, more aggressive stance toward paparazzi. 

• She owns two houses: one is a penthouse in the underwater city where she first became famous. Another is a cozy, secluded beach house located near quiet shores. She prefers the beach house as a private, peaceful area to live in. Only those who become close to her are allowed to see it.
• Ashley has a habit of risky behavior when she's very upset.
• The seashells on her hair and tail are a part of her body. They can fall off, but new ones reappear shortly after.

Ashley met Florence when she was flying on a tour. Florence was the flight attendant while Ashley was in first class. Florence, who’s only five years older than Ashley, struck up a conversation with Ashley while on break. The two girls hit it off, and they've been friends for decades ever since. On the occasion Ashley performs, she'll always give Florence attendance for free.
