Qianfan Chen's Links
At first Beatrice was just an intimidating aunt-in-law for Qianfan, but after Nadia's death and the investigation the two have grown closer. Qianfan admires Beatrice's determination and leadership skills and how she seemed to grab everything and hit the ground running right after the tragedy.
While Qianfan hasn't gotten the traditional Badawi training, Beatrice does admire Qianfan's brawn, diligence and fighting skill.
At first, Qianfan thought of Leonardo as anyone would think of their father-in-law. However, ironically, losing Nadia and their unborn child has brought him closer to Leonardo, as the two bonded over their trauma about losing Nadia.
As any father, Leonardo subjected Bolin to a third-degree interrogation when Nadia brought Bolin to meet him. However, as soon as Bolin passed the tests and Leonardo saw that he really loves Nadia, Leonardo immediately accepted Qianfan into the family.
Qianfan thinks that Lorenzo is a little introverted, but thinks it's good that he's good friends with Isabella.
Lorenzo hasn't had the chance to get to know Qianfan that well.
Qianfan loves Isabella like his own sister. He's not sure how to get closer to her without scaring her, though.
Isabella has always been a little shy around Qianfan, even after he got married to Nadia.
Qianfan barely knows Angelo, but since Qianfan's here to stay, might as well get to know him.
Angelo isn't sure why Qianfan is still sticking around when his wife is dead, but he's not going to *ask* that.
Qianfan doesn't know Camila too well.
Camila has to admire Qianfan for staying with the family even when his wife, the person who brought him to the Badawi Family, is gone.
Qianfan thinks that Haitao is too reckless.
Haitao thinks that Qianfan is incredibly stiff and not fun.
Qianfan is aware of Lucas' personality shift and feels sympathy for it.
Even if Lucas is just a cousin, he's heartbroken about Qianfan losing his wife and unborn child.
