yeah its dumb but imma lean into the scholar part more 

anyway, im thinking they draw? the bugs to life as a way of summoning. with blood of course!! gotta keep the blood thing alive. maybe they study insects. mix and match body parts. it would explain why i keep mixing mantis heads with centipede bodies despite entomology saying otherwise.

come to think of it i dont think insects have blood i nthe traditional sense? nvm I jsut googled it. they have blood but its not like our blood which probably makes sense in context.

obviously as a scholar i must put big scrolls somewhere onto the design as soon as i rember
