Flock

• She can have paw feet or claw feet, at will

Flock is generally quiet, if for most of her life a stickler for traditions and rules. While she spent her youth stubbornly adhering to the expectations of her office as queen of the harpies, she also lost touch with a lot of life as a result. She was constantly stressed, frustrated with the other nobles and political corruptions, and tired of being a figurehead. However, she did it for her people- and would suffer anything that they survive well. 

Now that she's retired, she's very laid back and lax. She doesn't really care about much other than enjoying the life she never could as a queen and while she's rather quiet and more of an observer, she can absolutely get loud with her sons when taunted with a good time. She tends to be the silent sort until given a reason to snark or sass someone- as her wit sometimes gets ahead of her. She's very smart...but highly repressed in her lifetime- so she'll entirely do stupid or reckless things just for the fun of it or to see what happens, honestly. 

While she keeps to herself, she can still absolutely go screeching angry mother hawk when provoked or her children are in danger. 

Flock grew up expected to be queen from birth. Replacing her mother as the head of an extremely matriarchal society where her word became law and all decisions were laid at her feet. 

She had many children, and while she was never a doting mother by any means (she laid hundreds of eggs after all, only natural as her position would detail to create loyal soldiers by the expecations of her kind) But she did care for her children.  She was particularly annoyed with a segment of them that took up roots on some silly human beach...they couldn't fight a frog between them but for some reason they were happy anyway- she didn't really understand what their problem was. 

At first, she was rather annoyed that they wasted their lives doing something so useless....but the more she nagged and scolded them- the more fascinated she became by that life. When her son, Feather succeeded her (Breaking tradition as the first male lead of state for harpies); she retired to live on the beach with her sons and show them how a real beach momma parties in her retirement.
