Feather

• Can have more or less feathers or wings, can have paw feet or bird claws, and can shapeshift fully into a bird or humanoid as desired. 

Feather is a kind, but rather anxious prince who had an immense amount of pressure on his shoulders from an early age. He was the first in line king to ever take the throne and had unsurmountable eyes and odds on him to do well. He studied hard, worked dilligently, and tried his absolute best to not dissapoint his family line and his mother when he took her place. As such, he's a bit paranoid about his own abilities and often insecure about his place in his own society. Despite his fears, he's a caring and considerate ruler who puts doing the best he can above power or any ambition he could ever have. 

He's mellow but can get his feather's in a bunch around messes or clutter- he really doesn't like mud and dirt and gets especially rattled by the beach-faring brothers his mother chose to retire to spend time with. He doesn't really like to relax and gets antsy if he isn't being productive. 

As the first natural-born child of Flock and her mate, Nest, Feather was always destined to be the next in line heir to the throne. Normally, it would be the first born daughter (As harpies are a very matriarchal society): but since Flock and her partner were never able to conceive a daughter, she broke tradition to make Feather the next in line as the first king the harpies would have. 

Despite reservations, Feather has a great deal of respect for tradition and follows this role dilligently, becoming a wise and respectable (if a bit paranoid and over-cautious) king for his people.

When his mother retires to a life on the beach, it's only to his chagrin...
