IN-STORY TRIVIA
- When caught off guard, scared, etc. some of Jeremy's skin reflexively turns into metal (a reaction similar to goosebumps). If he's especially spooked, he'll turn completely into a sword.
- Jeremy was trained in combat by Luke and can fight well on his own, but prefers to fight alongside Luke. The two have developed their own method of fighting together, a style that takes advantage of both of their abilities.
- Doodles in his spare time. Has a very simplistic but stylized art style. He rarely shows his work to others but occasionally posts them online.
- He also has a passing interest in metalwork, mainly weapons and such. He likes to study intricate pieces and see if he can replicate it w/ his magic.
- For a good portion of his life, Jeremy's name was in draconic spelling, which had been a result of his guardian trying to appease his traditional family. Once he was an adult, Jeremy immediately went to go legally change his name to the standard spelling because he couldn't stand seeing "Jh'ourhy'mi" on his ID anymore.
- The only people he tolerates being called "Jerm" by are Luke and maaaybe Kitty. Anyone else will be obliterated on the spot, and the same goes for most nicknames.
- When Jeremy fully ferroshifts, he loses all his senses other than his sense of hearing. He finds this weirdly relaxing, and will sometimes fully ferroshift at home whenever he needs to destress.
- Jeremy is kind of a picky eater, often giving whatever he doesn't eat/like to Luke. He also has a low spice tolerance, blaming it on his heat sensitivity.
- His favorite music genre is heavy metal but he very rarely admits to others as most of the time people jokingly attribute it to his ferroshifting which greatly annoys him.
META TRIVIA
- Jeremy was originally named after the security guard in FNAF 2. I have no idea as to why I did that (especially since I've never been a big fnaf fan), but the name has stuck since then.
- Similarly, his middle name, 'Conte', comes from the music artist Jack Conte, who was his first voice claim.
- His hairstyle was originally supposed to look like the hair of Lewis from Mystery Skulls Animated, but I was very bad at drawing back then and I instead drew it like this.
- Originally, Jeremy could only shapeshift into weapons. The material didn't matter as long as it could be classified as a weapon, but I would later change his ability to be metal-based as it was less niche and made more sense from a magic standpoint.
- Jeremy was the second character in the trio that was given more depth beyond his original concept, which is why I tend to order him second when listing out CK characters.
- Like Luke, Jeremy also started off as a canine character. Jeremy's human design was the first of the three to be created.
- In the very, very early versions of the story, Jeremy's personality was very similar to Luke's current personality. He was optimistic, cheerful, and generally much more friendly toward others. Their personalities have essentially swapped since then, but I can't remember if that was intentional or not.
- He also had a ~hidden evil side~ in the first version of Crowned Knight. I made him in middle school so this is unsurprising.
- Jeremy, as a character, has been around since 2014/2015!
