Suri

Suri comes from a non-magical family. Not being able to use magic, Suri was banned from applying to most schools after finishing high school as higher education is reserved mostly for magical users.

Despite all odds she was able to acquire one of the highest scores on the final exam and outstanding recommendations whcich allowed her to participate in the program at the Guardian Academy which was directed towards "giftless". Equipped with high-grade technology imitating magic, giftless are taught how to fight alongside their talented schoolmates.
Suri's weapons are flying triangle-shaped devices, capable of igniting themselves. She controls them via set of sensors on her hands, surgically attached to her skin. A triangle on her forhead is also a sensor.

Suri studies in the Academy along her best friends from high school Jia and Keiko. She is really close to Keiko who is also a giftless.
Suri' s biggest hobby is collecting stamps and postards. She used to be in love with her best friend during her time at high school, Jia and when she confessed that she dreams of receiving valentines day cards, Suri started sending them to her every year as long as they were studying.
Despite having feelings for her best friend, she supported her relationship with Luna as well as she could.

- She helps at her mother's bakery whenever she has some free time
- She is the oldest of four siblings
- Keiko's girlfriend. She hopes that they'll be sorted into the same division after they graduate
-The small triangle devices can be attached to Suri's dress. She sometimes uses them as heaters when it's very cold.

*Guardian Academy is an institution training people, both those who have natural talent for magic and those who don't, to use it. After graduating, all former students become part of a military formation called Guardians which's duty is to prevent mutual agression of both magical and non-magical parts of society. Guardians have been more than once used to reach the goals of the famillies whose representants form the Council. Despite it's damaged reputation the Academy is quite popular as it's the easiest way a person can take to become sucessful due to the opportunities joining Guardians gives.
- term "giftless" refers to people who are not able to use magic, they make up most of the society. Still, they can use technology that will imitate magic to a very limited extent but because it's nearly impossible for a regular citizen to afford it's mostly used by members of organizations such as Guardians who are later obligated to work for these wihout receiving payment for their work.
