Kit;

Periwinklekit was extremely close and loving with her family from birth! She quickly adopted their mannerisms of ‘cat-watching’ and enjoyed being alone with them! One trait she didn't inherit from them was being a little troublemaker and enjoying breaking rules for fun. She was often obsessed with things ‘changing’ and how the world changes around them- the weather, flowers, creatures and even lives.

Apprentice;

One change she didn't foresee is becoming an apprentice and her father dying suddenly. It was the first emotion Periwinkle felt she truly felt but that didn't last too long as she managed to move on quickly. She liked taking her mother around nature and showing how things change- hearing her talk about nature and stuff as she knew she loved to do that with Spottedowl and wanted to bring that comfort to her mother, even if she was bad at it.

Losing her mother was the second greatest shock to Periwinklepaw, but this time she never got to say goodbye. She was left with a body to bury and no words- usually no words were comforting and warm but it was cold and alone now. She wasn't sure if that's what led to this, but eventually she made friends with an enemy clan apprentice. While the two were stand-offish and only talked shortly at the border, Periwinklepaw liked their brief talks and the feeling of not being alone and bonded over their parents death. Although Periwinkle, knowing Riftaclan’s reputation, didn't tell Shimmerpaw where she was from and claimed to be a rogue.

While she was mentored by Blueblade, Oleandernight trained her in the darkforest and she looked up to him the most. Due to his influence she picked up a lot of his personality and ways of doing…things, for better or for worse. Her friendship with Shimmerpaw was cut short once the apprentice told her where she really lived. Shimmerpaw reacted aggressively as her father had been killed by Riftclan.

Heartbroken by her friend's reaction and the creeping grief of being alone again like she'd lost her parents, Periwinklepaw turned to Oldandernight who both gave her comfort and advice. Only his advice…was obviously revenge. That night and knowing Shimmerpaw’s patrol path, Periwinklepaw attacked the apprentice and they engaged in a fight. As Periwinkle drowned Shimmerpaw, the apprentice landed a cut across her throat that would soon kill her. That didn't stop the white apprentice from holding Shimmerpaw down until she didn't move before the world went dark and she bled to death.

Was revenge worth it? Probably not. But she woke up in the darkforest with her family, so maybe it wasn't so bad in her eyes.
