ABILITIES: He has the ability to create balls of flammable gas which are held at a very high temperature until they ignite; due to the temperature, they appear white and are extremely hot, enough to burn those that get too close. His skin is immune to his own flames.

Laurette was born a daughter to Kane and Satomi Juryko, the second child of her mother's quest to create a child she deemed perfect and beautiful. Due to her vain attitude and treatment, Laurette was routinely abused and spoken down to when she didn't meet her mother's standards.
Her elder brother, Kai, was jealous of her when they were children because he received no attention from their mother as he was considered a failure by Satomi.
Eventually, Satomi and Kane had another child they named Jiro. Laurette became extremely protective over Jiro, refusing to let him experience their mother's wrath as she had.
Laurette decided that she was transgender at 15 years old, but the idea was rejected by Satomi. Infuriated, he ran away from home, taking Jiro with him, and became a traveller for years, eventually ending up in Silvane at the age of 24.
During a drunken night out, Laurette engaged in a one night stand with Silvane’s former king, Nicholas Amberdane. This happened several more times until the two got to know each other and began a relationship despite Nicholas being 20 years his senior.
Eventually, the two had a child together, a boy named Garth. The family currently lives in a small house on the outskirts of Silvane.
