  • Mental Health - Hickory's mental health is an absolute trainwreck. Following "The accident" Hickory decided he needed separation from Shannon, falling down the road of drinking he became an alcoholic, losing himself in bottles of beer, and whisky shots every night in hopes that he might get her out of his mind. Hickory suffers from impulsiveness as much as Shannon does, he is also a victim of being easily persuaded. Hickory is prone to spacing out quite a bit, mainly due to the fact that he does in fact struggle with depression and ADHD. His conscience beats him up about abandoning Shannon almost every waking moment, he constantly rethinks his decisions but is always met with the conclusion "She will never forgive me, I've hurt her too much already." and sadly, can't muster enough confidence to talk to her about it. 
  • Strengths - Musch like Shannon, he's an extremely skilled thief. He mainly deals with the robbery part of the equation whilst Shannon would plan and be a getaway driver. Hickory is really good and acting. he acts confident, cool, suave, and masculine, to get the attention of those around him. He's a really good showman, and performer. he's normally the face behind the operation, and though everybody knows who he is, he is never really caught. He is actually extremely gifted with words.
  • Flaws - As mentioned early Hickory is impulsive, very very impulsive. this in turn gets him into some really bad situations. He's childish, cocky, and very very full of himself. he is also very disorganized without the aid of other people. also, after the separation from Shannon, he gets quite used to being highly dishonest and breaking promises left and right. Hickory, despite his cocky appearance is actually a HUGE scaredy-cat and HATES to face his fears or the facts of life and try’s to hide behind a fake idea of who he wants to be (much like the Flynn Ryder identity in Tangled).

    • EX-Fiance and rival in thievery. Hickory and Shannon were once madly in love, after an accident Hickory and Shannon were separated for a year, Hickory promising to return to her, eventually cheating on her with another woman and partner (Felicity Brown). Hickory and Shannon eventually reunite, Shannon learning these facts, vows that she will only forgive him once he realizes what he did wrong, with this they become rivals and frequently run into each other on missions.

    • Current girlfriend and partner in crime, she is a petty, average southern girl, she's generic and bland, but by no means evil, she's mainly just an ego booster for him whilst he tries to fill the hole left in his heart because of his mistake. 
  • John Johnson
    • Yes, that's his real name. Petty businessman, who the general public loves, however his business is secretly embezzling secret ancient artifacts. He normally hires Hickory for his thievery plots to gain these precious artifacts that the company wishes to steal and hold underground bids for tons of money.

  • His Tattoo, as mentioned above, was in honor of Shannon, based on her middle, name, he got it right before they were to be engaged as he really did think they would be together forever
  • Hickory's name was actually chosen because of a neighborhood near me that I saw one evening
  • Hickory changed his name because it sounded more "Cowboy" to fit with his motif
  • Hickory wears rose-tinted glasses sometimes, which is delicious irony for how his life tends to play out. 
  • Hickory was wildly bullied in middle school and elementary school, causing him to be homeschooled later on and only really going back to public school for 10th grade and forward.
  • Hickory didn't want to go to college but ended up going anyways after his mother made him, he did take a gap year.

  • While Hickory chose to date Felicity as a replacement for Shannon, he does have feelings for her, and cant leave her because he doesn't want to hurt her the way he hurt Shannon.
