A young doctor in a country devastated by a war which is just now ending. She travels from town to town, lending her help wherever it is needed and learning the stories of the people who live in each. As she travels she learns more about the world, the war, how it's hurt people but also how people can find hope with each other.

In her travels she is accompanied by Jiira, an apparation that showed up when Elieer was 16 and had just left the home she was raised in. Elieer believes her to be something that she's thought up out of stress but Jiira has stuck around.

The two also encounter Roon somewhat regularly.

A ghost who, though a complete coincidence, was given a way out of the limbo that ghosts without direct physical attachement to the moral plane find themselves in. This coincidence ended up tying her and Elieer together despite the two having never met in life, and giving Jiira an immense amount of power that ghosts don't usually have.

Who she was in life is a mystery as Elieer, not beliving Jiira even is a ghost in the first place, doesn't ask about it. In death she is optimistic and talkative, seeming to have very few reservations and often giving Elieer suggesstions on what to do or say.
