Lukas is a lonely boy with few friends, but he still has big dreams. However most of his dreams are shared with friends and people he considers special. This is one of the reasons he shows that he is a person with shared thoughts and ideas. His parents were the closest people to him and he knew that. He used to not leave the house because he preferred to stay with them, but Emma always managed to get him out. She always tried to make him have fun, but he was someone very homey and reserved. After losing his parents with the invasion of the titans on the wall Maria, he became a more sensitive and unmotivated person. He didn't see calm and warm personalities in most of his friendships. The only people who got closer to this were Fleur and Beatriz, which made him have a more open heart for them, despite knowing them less time than Emma. So he needed to move and started to live in the Hoffmann's castle with his friends until deciding to join the Trainee with them. Lukas hates fighting, but he makes the effort to learn to be able to protect himself. In addition he is usually someone very well fighting alone, although to fight following the movements of Fleur. He met her at one of the family parties too, but he never had the courage to talk to her, it was Fleur who took the initiative to speak. He met her at the Hoffmann family parties, but they only had a deeper interaction because of Emma's nature. Emma one day swore to him that together they would meet the ocean and live on the beach. In spite of everything he loves when she takes him out of the rut, but not when they are too much for him to bear.
