The sole inhabitant of a remote jungle biome on the edge of a savannah, Ink keeps mostly to herself. While there are populated cities on their home continent, Ink's stomping grounds are far too remote for her to have had much contact with the outside world. She doesn't mind, though; for the most part, the savannah and jungle offer everything she needs to thrive outside of companionship.

Ink is an accomplished water mage, her water magic comes to her as naturally as breathing or blinking. It presents itself in a very similar way to waterbending, offering her the ability to move and manipulate water in an existing environment. An endemic mineral similar to black opal enhances her abilities, affecting her endurance, range, and capacity. They often scour the landscape for pieces of this stone to incorporate into their jewelry and outfits.

While Ink spends most of their time alone in their home, it's not unheard of for company to pass by. She has a number of close friends who visit occasionally, and has even taken trips into the big city with them. She highly prefers the comfort of her own home as well as her own homespun clothing, but on rare occasions will don fancy duds becoming of a mage of her stature made of silk, gold, and other luxuries. Regardless of the quality, Ink's clothing is either form fitting and unrestrictive, like a dancer, or comprised of loose cloth that will allow her to move fluidly and use her magic.
