Trivia
- This version of Ink exists in a Modern setting, and wears modern clothing only. Her style is usually goth or industrial.
- While this version of Ink isn't a waterbender, her blood is black and iridescent like oil or Ink, and if cut, she has the ability to manipulate the substance all the same. Intense emotion may make her seep the substance as well.
Design Notes
- Two eyebrow piercings under her bangs, and two ear piercings on the opposite side.
- Please draw Ink's nose like a housecat, not a serval!
- Hair across the back of the head is shaved, and isn't much longer than her fur.
- Unless scared or angry, Ink's claws should be retracted.
Background
(Grey) Ink lives on the outskirts of a large city with an active nightlife and a seedy underbelly, not unlike Gotham or Night City. She holds a job as a freelance illustrator, taking jobs where she can to pay for rent and other expenses.
While somewhat introverted, Ink will sometimes make appearances at clubs, bars, and other haunts to meet with friends, but can still be a bit of a wallflower unless they're with a partner or someone else they really trust.
Though still largely undiscovered and unfamiliar to Ink themself, they have a strange magical ability to manipulate the blood-like liquid in their body. It is viscious and black, like ink, but iridescent, almost like oil. The liquid remains dormant and unusable unless Ink has been hurt (both emotionally or physically), at which point it almost gains a life of its own, seeping from Ink's body. She can manipulate it like a waterbender can manipulate water, creating barriers, shields, whips, or other shapes.
As of yet it is not something Ink can actively control, nor something they know how to provoke intentionally.
