Personality

Torayuri is headstrong and brave female with a tomboyish attitude. She is sort of a feminist, and keeps reminding her male friends that females can be just as strong as males, and hates it when her gender is being downplayed. She is a talented fighter and very proud of her heritage. She has her doups and fears however, finding all the excuses to not go to Ohu to meet her father, even though she made the long trip there just to do so.

Appearance

Torayuri is a female kai ken and akita mix. Her coat is red and white in color, with black stripes all around her body and face. She has a scar over her left eye and two in a cross on her chest. She has a rope hanging on her neck. Her eyes are light purple. She has prominent lashes.

Mother and siblings

Tora loves her mother and siblings greatly and feels sorry for her mother, who thinks Akatora had forgotten about her, and this motivates Tora to leave and find him.

Akatora

Akatora is Torayuri's father whom she has never met. She both loves her father, as well as resent him for leaving her mother behind. She is not aware that he is dead.

Shin's army

Despite being younger than most of the others in the army, Tora sees them as young and dumb boys who know nothing about the world. She see them as little brothers whom she has to put in place every once in a while. Despite getting annoyed by them, she has taken a liking to her new friends.

Backstory

Some time before Ohu soldiers came to recruit the Kai brothers to their army, Akatora had met a pet dog named Ren, and the two fell in love. Akatora would visit Ren every other night and the two would talk, hunt in the forest and sometimes just lay together for hours. When the Ohu soldiers came to get them, Akatora takes a fast detour to tell Ren where he is going and promising to return after the fight. Ren waits for him patiently, and during this time finds out she is expecting Akatora's pups. She gives birth to 5 healthy pups and names the red one, that looks a lot like her father, Torayuri. Ren tells the pups about their father and waits patiently, but even though the word that Ohu soldiers have defeated Akakabuto reaches Ren, Akatora doesn't return. This causes Ren to become sad, thinking Akatora met someone else and forgot about her. Torayuri, who has been waiting for her father eagerly sees this and decides to go find Akatora and bring him home. She snaps the rope that Ren's owner has put on her and makes her way to Ohu. On the way she learns to survive in the wild and hears a lot of stories and rumours. She meets Hairoo who tells her more stories in exchange for food and the closer to Ohu Tora gets, more anxious she feels. What if Akatora has indeed found himself another mate? What if he doesn't accept her as his daughter? As she is going trough these thoughts, she meets Shin and Pink Dragon.

She decides to join the two, just so that she doesn't have to go to Ohu quite yet. Torayuri takes them to elderly Hairoo who tells them about a pack of Shinobi-dogs who live near by. Shin, Pink and Torayuri make their way there, only to find that only two young shinobis live there. The brothers, Ryo and Shou, join them after some persuating. The group then make their way to Himedake where they meet Akihime.

Trivia

Torayuri is based in a old RP-character, Waku, and is technically just the Ginga-version of her.

Torayuri's original name was Oniyuri.

Torayuri used to have a black mane on her head.
