Aaaaa a ferocious and hulking woodland spirit known only as Roots! This terrifying display of teeth and antlers seamlessly camouflages themselves into the surrounding area thanks to their fungal growths and moss hanging off every which way. They’re only known of in bedtime stories and hushed whispers between intimate strangers, but some dare to say that they’ve heard the beast in the woods - or even caught a glimpse of them before they wisely turned tail and ran!
whatever the truth is, Roots is very much alive and every bit the hulking, terrifying being that was born in the bloated breaths of those that venture too deeply into the woods. Come brimstone, fire and disaster Roots has never left the deep, dark woods they’ve come to be known for, and if anybody stopped to think for even a moment why this is, they may also notice that Roots seems to be guarding something, something more sinister than anything they pretend to be to scare people off
