Hecate is a yume who keeps themself wrapped in mystery. They are best known as an information broker of sorts around the cove. If there's a secret out there, it's highly likely that Hecate knows about it. Of course they don't give anything they learn for free, they always have a price.
Unlike this carrier of secrets, Hecate's nightmares are very open with the information they share. Humans who are given a nightmare from Hecate find their deepest secrets being told to the world, or to whoever they want to keep them from the most.

Hecate is best known around the cove as a keep of secrets and information, and has been given the title of The Informant by many who don't know them on a more personal level. Hecate loves learning about others and their secrets, and even refuses to give out info they have on yumes they like.
For the most part though this carrier of secrets is more than happy to share what they've learned, but always at a price. This price is completely random, so no yume can actually tell another what to prepare if they want something from Hecate. Sometimes Hecate wants money, and other times they want something as simple as a warm drink. Hecate likes to keep everybody on their toes with their variety of prices.
There are some yumes out there who are afraid to speak if they know Hecate is around. Of course if somebody doesn't want their information being spread by the oddball yume all they have to do is ask. But, most of the time they don't because they're too busy worrying about what Hecate may take from them. This doesn't seem to bother Hecate from what anybody else can tell though.
While Hecate keeps information and secrets close to them, that can't be said for the nightmares they make and deliver. Humans who receive Hecate's dreams find themselves with all their darkest and deepest secrets out in the open. Most of the time it's either put out in front of a lot of people, or their secrets are revealed to the person or people they want despeately don't want knowing.
When not being a broker of secrets and information, you can find Hecate learning about worldy mysteries as well. Be it fun mysteries of the cove, or deep conspiracies of the human realm. If not digging into mysteries then Hecate can also be found practicing their visual magic. They won't ever admit their soft spot for the kids of the cove, but if you see them showing magic off to said kids it's pretty easy to see that very soft spot.
