Trinket
Overview
Trinket is the Entity of Innovation. They are good friends with Grimm, who they may or may not have feelings for. They are incredibly loyal to Grimm and the Underworld as a whole. He has invented many things to make the underworld better, including working with Cosmos to create a mechanical celestial system. To bring light, and a sense of normality to the seemingly endless planes of the Underworld. He has also helped Grimm create a set of magical dice that yields rewards on a mismatched roll, but on any double roll someone will die, on double 6s, Grimm comes for you.
However, Trinket expertise is not limited to gears and cogs and the like, as they also play a big hand in creating new foodstuffs, often being commissioned by bakerys and restaurants. When Willow was still alive, they helped her design the Gricha bean. It functions mostly the same as a coffee bean, but it is more caffienated and sweet instead of bitter. This makes is incredibly addictive to the people of the underworld. Especially among its target audience, Willows partner, Grimm. Trinket has never told Grimm about his part to play in creating the bean, but still feels a sense of pride every time he sees him drinking it, which is quite often.
When you undervalue what you do, you undervalue who you are.

Demeanor
Trinket tends to prefer to work late into the night, as such, getting any sort of sleep is a rarity for them. Trinket finds it easy to focus as long as it is something he is interested in, otherwise he quickly gets distracted. Trinket doesnt care much for keeping a good diet, although he will eat good if good food is available, they prefer food to always be quick. So they can get back to whatever theyre busy with. Trinket prefers to direct his full attention to a task, his multitasking abilities are poor. Trinkets handwriting tends to be messy, scratchy and written quickly, illegible to anyone but themself. His living space is messy, but somehow he still knows where everything is. They like to leave little engravings in their work. Trinket will often put his own beliefs, wants and needs, to the side if it benefits those he cares about.
Trinket is an extremely skilled communicator, it comes naturally to them. It makes them very charismatic and easy to get along with. Even though this is the case, because they are friends with Grimm, they are unpopular amongst most entities. Trinkets strongest skill is his speaking, he could talk for hours about something he is passionate or knowledgable about. Their weakest communication skill is their writing. It is often rushed and hard to read, and Trinket finds it harder to express themself when they have to think more about what theyre saying, becoming unsure about what he's saying, this indecision ultimately leaves his writing muddled and imprecise. With alot of words written, but ultimately saying nothing of meaning.
Trinket only shows a little affection to everybody, but only shows a large amount to those he truly cares about. They show love by acts of service. As Grimm is who Trinket cares most for, this often manifests as Trinket improving the underworld, as he knows that the underworld thriving is what truly makes Grimm happy. Trinket recieves love best as quality time, so he tends to hang around the people he loves as much as possible, often getting upset if they dont feel up for it. Taking it as a rejection of him, rather than a multitude of other reasons.

Design notes
- Trinket often keeps their hair in a braid, however, out of the braid, the hair should reach the bottom of their back. Braided it reaches around mid back.
- Trinket has big, golden eyes with very long eyelashes. He often wears a dark red eyeliner.
- Trinket has pointed features, including pointed ears.
- Trinket is rather short, but his legs are long in proportion with his body. Their body is strong but lean.
- Trinket has rather large feet and hands. Their fingers are short, and his hand wide.

Early Existence
- Trinket was excited on being assigned entity of innovation.
- Trinket spawned in the real world alot later than alot of entities.
- Trinket started crushing on Grimm very early on in their existence.
Trinket became friends with Grimm right off the bat. Trinket had seen they were struggling to make friends and had taken it upon themselves to go and talk to them. It didnt take long for Trinket to fall for them, Grimm was extremely caring and filled with so much love and kindness. So when Grimm finally confided in them that they had fallen for Willow, his heart was broken, but he thought that Grimm deserved to be happy. So he encouraged Grimm to talk to, and confess to, Willow. Although Grimm, being very shy, struggled with this. Trinket, being friends with Willow, talked Grimm up and gushed about them a little. After alot of drama, Grimm and Willow got together, and though Trinket was happy, he was still heartbroken.
Trinket spawned later than their friends did, so spent alot more time in 'the before' than the others. Thus he is much more knowledgable on the space than many others. They also have a closer relationship with 'The Mother' than the rest. The before is the place the Entities resided before they were spawned, and where alot of their early existence takes place, including Trinket and Grimm meeting, and Willow and Grimm getting together. It is a largely mysterious place, even to Trinket. They existed here without physical forms, only their spirits. Some of the time was spent unassigned, but at some point before spawning, they were assigned. The Mother is referred to that by entities, despite not being related, not even being the same species. The Mother is what could be likened to a god, and is the creator of entities.
Post-Split
- Trinket was upset, losing a long time friend and watching his best friend fall apart.
- Trinket took to running the Underworld with Cosmos, taking on alot of responsibility on top of their usual job.
- Trinket helped others deal with their feelings, but ended up neglecting their own, not really fully processing the death.
After Willows death, Grimm simply couldnt do their royal duties anymore. With the influx of entities coming to stay in the Underworld and their lack of leadership, the Underworld became a chaotic mess. So Trinket took up the mantel of leader, soon joined by newcomer Cosmos. He had worked with her before, they made a good team, working like a well oiled machine, as the Underworld direly needed. Together, they brought the Underworld back into prosperity. Cosmos's talents even giving them practically unlimited space, making the previously depressed Underworld folk extremely happy.
Before Willows death, much of the Underworlds fashion and food choices were rooted in her actions. However, after her death, they began to create dishes of their own. Trinket being in charge at this time means he established himself well in these industries, helping to innovate and bring happiness to the people of the Underworld
Current Day
- Trinket continues to work hard to push the Underworld forward.
- Trinket misses who Grimm used to be, but understand their pain, and stays loyally by their side.
- Trinket begins to find it hard to trust others with responsibility. Instead, he takes everything onto his own shoulders.
Trinket spends alot of their time on projects, usually mechanical but sometimes woodwork or food related. They also spend alot of time with Grimm, trying to comfort them, He can tell that Grimm is planning something, but can't tell exactly what. He has little time to socialize with other people, so often feels lonely. He knows Grimm has alot of personal issues so he feels uncomfortable confiding in them, not wanting to burden them further. So they instead keep their feelings to themselves.
Trinket struggles with anxiety about failure, still convinced everything is resting on his shoulders. So when he takes a trip into time-space and it goes badly, he breaks down.

Skills & abilities
Space-time rift
A skill taught to them by Cosmos, involving tearing a hole in space-time to travel through. This allows them to essentially teleport. It is a complex magical skill, only available to those who are extremely proficient. The tearing open of space-time makes a loud, thunder-like crash, on both ends. When done properly, space-time is not permanently effected. The rift requires an 'anchor' to open, Trinkets is his pocket knife.
Trailblazer
Beings within Trinkets immediate vicinity feel an increased sense of motivation, as well as an increased level of focus and resilience. This doesnt only occur with humans and Entities, but also animals, and to some degree, plants.
Diamond In The Rough
Trinket can summon an item to his hand at will, providing he knows the general area where it resides. It will fly throught the air, straight to his hand as soon as he desires it to be there. There is no stopping the object unless it is physically attached to a person, this is the only time the object will not necassarily reach Trinket.
Since the beginning, Trinket has had a crush on Grimm. Since then his feelings have never once wavered, even though Grimm has changed alot over time. Trinket was the first person Grimm confided in that they had a crush on Willow, so since then, Trinket has kept his feelings a secret.
Trinket only wants the best for Grimm and tries hard to keep him happy and support him. Grimm, however, perhaps does not treat Trinket as well as they should. Most of the time Grimm treats Trinket kindly, however they are very ill-tempered, and this is often taken out on Trinket. This obviously upsets Trinket, but he is yet to stand his ground on the issue.
Cosmos and Trinket work extraordinarily well together, while at times she can get a little fed up with his antics and boisterous nature, she respects his work and can do attitude
If Trinket is in need of help, in most cases, Cosmos is the first person he would go too, she simply has such a wide variety of knowledge and skills that it makes the most sense, and, Trinket doesnt feel bad distrupting her as he does Grimm.
Trinket was very close with Willow for a long time, she was the only person he truly felt he could confide in without censoring himself. She was the only person to know about Trinkets feelings for Grimm.
Trinket and Willow made a pretty good team, Trinkets abilities could help Willows plants grow beautifully at a faster rate, and help her animals do well and thrive. Willow often help Trinket by sharing with him her wide and accurate knowledge on the properties of different organic materials. This lead to Trinket being a skilled carpenter and chef. Trinkets skills wouldnt reach the heights they are at now if it were not for Willows assistance.
