Binge-eats when stressed. (Technically he's not overeating anymore due to his hopped-up metabolic rate, but the guilt makes him work out for long stretches anyway. Imagine his surprise when he ended up with a six-pack and killer thighs.)
When Kira doesn't like something, he complains. Loudly. At length. He has honed the act of grousing to high art, which makes it easy to dismiss his real concerns as casual venting.
Kira shows his affection by making time for the people he likes. While he's very much a "go out and do things" person, he routinely slogged through hours in the library with Lamont in their school years (before promptly dragging them to the nearest club or bar for some real quality time). He isn't a very casually touchy person, but does enjoy a good cuddle session now and again.

Abilities & Debuffs
Shadowplay
A tricky bit of spellwork which Kirakos patented and popularized, Shadowplay is a lasting illusion cast to cycle through different animations that can be updated or removed at will. Kira specializes in casting it on skin for moving, interlocking tattoos. The technique itself isn't difficult so much as finicky; Kira spends a lot of time on the design and artwork for each one. A particular quirk of the spell is that it is keyed to the caster's magical signature and cannot be modified by anyone else. (The Devil's Buff corruption gave Kira no end of headaches: he had to explain to clients that he couldn't update their tattoos anymore.)
Body Modification
Even the most extreme body modifications can be done safely and painlessly with the careful application of magic. If you want cat ears, you totally can! (Functioning cat ears are another matter.) As with most cosmetic procedures, it is much easier to remove unwanted appendages than to add new ones; Kira once did brisk business in body contouring. He's still the resident body mod expert at the tattoo parlor he works at, but he rarely schedules clients in anymore due to the high magical energy required for a single session.
Devil's Drain
Kira's body is unable to properly process or store the life force from the wishes he grants, and constantly expends any magic he isn't actively using by supercharging his metabolism; he's run hot ever since getting the Devil's Buff. He may look like he's in good shape, but his stamina is atrocious and he doesn't dare cast more than the bare minimum lest he burn himself out. (This isn't a regular side effect of the Devil's Buff; the demon that contracted with Kira was just a dick. Unless he can find the one he made a deal with and beat the shit out of it until it agrees to take it back, he is cursed to die young.)
Lamont was Kira's first ride-or-die friend. They met in grade school and bonded over having overbearing parents: seven years later, they helped each other run away from home, and they've been bitching at each other through thick and thin ever since. He doesn't always like them, but he always loves them. Not that he'd ever tell them that.
