Although Dae-Hyun is slightly fake when it comes to public appearances due to not wanting to being taken advantage of, he's actually a much better person when he acts the way he actually is around friends and such. For public appearances, he acts almost sugary-sweet and like the usual charming-handsome-young man. When he's true to his actual personality, he's softer than he'd like to admit. Certain things will get under his skin like talking about his mother or grandmother. He sees his mother as a woman who abandoned him and his grandmother as the strongest, most caring, and courageous woman he ever knew, and will have no problem saying that though. He loves soft animals and finds them relatable on some level, although no one is sure of what "level" that actually is. He's a kind and caring person with good intentions and a heart of gold, but he can be rather sassy. He also get's slightly grumpy and/or pouty when he's exhausted.

Backstory

Dae-Hyun was born to a single mother who constantly struggled to bring hum up, with the help of her mother and his grandmother. His grandmother lived in South Korea, while his mother and him lived in the slums of Los Angeles, California. When he was 6 and 1/2, his mother tossed him out, and that very night, his grandmother booked a flight out to Los Angeles to bring him back with her. From then on, he lived in South Korea with his grandmother, who wasn't the wealthiest woman, but she didn't struggle to keep a roof over their head and food on the table, as well as some other luxuries. When Dae-Hyun turned 11, he started singing, but only as a hobby. When he was 14 though, he got his interest in having a modeling career, and while his grandmother thought it was a bit feminine and favored his singing better, she supported him as best as she could regardless. His grandmother was his number one fan and supporter through everything. When he turned 16, she mysteriouslt fell ill. For the next year and a half, she would struggle with medical bills, which Dae-Hyun desperately tried to help with by gaining online suppoert and followings for modeling and singing. When he was 17 and 1/2, his grandmother finally passed from her long fight with the illness that was never able to be identified. A few days after, he gave her the best funeral he could and moved back to North America. A few days before she had died, she told him that she wanted him to pursue his career in modeling or singing if that's what he would rather do, but she wanted him to know that she was always supporting him and with him in spirit, so pursue a career in modeling he did.
