Amelie is a fortune teller who primarily relies on cartomancy! Although many have their reasons to be skeptical of such a pseudo-science, Amelie has found success due to her uncannily accurate predictions. Although sometimes she hits the mark just by listening closely to a troubled client, other times she describes a future so vivid to her clients it's almost as if she's seen it herself.
...Probably because she has.
Troubled by visions of the future from her youth, she's taken to her craft for the sake of empowering others to decide what their fate will be. After all, when it comes to her, it's almost as if fate is holding her prisoner; when she tries to alter the course of the future, she causes a self-fulfilling prophecy, but when she lets it be so she doesn't mess things up then it still goes wrong anyway! Even so, she refuses to resign herself to this cycle, hoping one day that she can do good for someone else with her own two hands.

- ...Except it was mostly with inconsequential things like winning at an arcade game and she has some pretty bad issues from watching worse things come true.
- She grew up in France, but studied abroad in Japan for a year.
- She has a big fluffy Samoyed named Barbie!
- Was originally made as a Your Turn To Die OC. Her concept is still pretty flexible outside a DR setting.
- ...Honestly she exists in a DR setting in the first place because some other friends and I wanted to make a fangan concept.
