Kohaku

Hell is split up into 7 layers, each layer of hell are run as individual Kingdoms with their own royalty and rules. The level we’re focusing on is level 3. The ruler is a benevolent demon who values family above all else but still holds tremendous power and gives no mercy to those who can’t follow the royal decrees that he sets for his people.

However the royal family it’s self were reduced by a sickly number. His children divided into factions and created a bloody war in the fight for the throne. The number of his offspring decreased rapidly from 200 to just 12. It was cruel and unforgiving but what was worse, the one prince who did not want to get involved ended up winning the entire war all for the sake of protecting his one and only new born who also came to be in danger during the second half of the sibling war.

That prince was the first prince, the original next in line to the throne who had discarded that right before the war to create his own family in peace. The eleven princes that followed him in support all had their own reasons though many kept them to them selves. The first prince was silent and opted for peace like many of his fellow brothers wanted but that became unachievable, during the second half of the war one of the rival brothers targeted his family, killing his wife and targeted his son who was so new to the world all he could do was cry in his crib.

It was then that there was no turning back, everyone saw the dark side of the first prince that he had sealed away, it was an intense raw power that rivalled that of their father and he was terrifyingly cruel even when his brothers cried for mercy. Their father cried for each son but did not intervene for even if he did now, the war would have started once more when he would eventually passed away. After the first prince was announced the victor, there was several months of mourning for while he showed no mercy for their actions, every person that lost their life was still his siblings and he had cared for them, he had hated that he had to get involved and push himself back into the position of the throne in order to create peace.

Several hundred years later and there is peace in the 3rd level of hell. The king is preparing to step down and let the first prince take the throne, his son now of age to start his training to become the next in line to the throne after his father and learn the history of the kingdom while his uncles still keep their loyalty and choose to support him for the sake of peace.

Facts:

• Kohaku lost his eye during the sibling war protecting Yoshinori from an attack
• Kohaku has always had a weak body thanks to being half human
• He still thinks that his brothers must still hate him for not being pure demon ( that is no longer the case )
• Taro and Osamu are his best siblings, he has tea in the garden with them when he is well enough to move
• He cries very easily when he see's Yoshinori as he's often very proud 
• His favourite tea is Oolong tea
