Solaris was the prototype of the current daycare attendants. (Sun and Moon are separate bots in my AU) He hasn't been tested before handling kids, so he overloaded & his heating system malfunctioned, causing a localized fire. The incident injured 2 children & hospitalized one, who perished afterwards. In the midst of the panic caused by the fire, Sol fled the scene and has been hidden in the tunnels underneath the PizzaPlex for years, having been nearly forgotten. Until someone comes across his charred form, still active...

He's a nervous wreck, literally. But very polite and gentle. Eventually, He'll get fixed up & reintegrated into the daycare.
