Profile

Childhood

Amber was born in Nothern Uran, in a small coastal town. She has a brother that is only a year younger than her. They were raised together and were inseparable, and loved playing sports and going on small adventures. They did well in school and had a happy, comfortable childhood.

Teenager

Once her and her brother got into high school, Amber started to learn more about herself. When she fell in love and starting dating a girl, her father got enraged. She was locked in her room for days, and she refused to back down. Not long after, guards seized her under her father's request and she was dragged off to the local guard's guild. She stayed there for two years until she was 18. The girl she had dated in high school committed suicide, leaving Amber heartbroken. She refused to go back to her home, so she packed up and traveled to Nearkia.

Young Adult

In Nearika, she landed upon the sizable town of Muldrow, who was under watch by Duke Brenn at the time. She enrolled in the guard's guild and started as a T-Guard. She found housing with a fellow guild member, an eccentric messenger and inventor, Graveline. She trained hard to raise in the ranks.

Other Events:
-At some point during a wrestling match, her nose was broken. It is still scarred.
-When training a Negabie, Amber lost control and got attacked, leaving a large gash over her left eye, and three long claw marks on her back.
-She had a few small flings, but had no long-standing committed relationship.
-Went on a mission alone to find herself.

Raising in Ranks

Over time, Amber proved herself to be one of the most dedicated, strongest, and unbreakable guards in the city. She rose in ranks, until becoming a Grand Guard. Not long after, Lady Daisy Lovett was promoted to Duchess. She needed to travel to the capital of Nearika to attend her ceremony. Amber was assigned to accompany her for her safety.
During their trip, Amber and Daisy were attacked by a pack of catavoiges. Amber stayed behind while Daisy went back to the closest village so the catavoiges wouldn't follow. During their struggle, Amber's arm was bitten and ripped off. She managed to cut the eye of the catavoige holding onto her, and killed another that charged her with her spear. The medical carriage from the village arrived, scaring off the rest of the catavoiges, as Amber passed out.
Amber was tended to in the village's hospital while Daisy continued to the capital with more guards. After she was released, she went back to where she was attacked and found the corpse of the catavoige she had killed, and brought it back to Muldrow with her.

A Personal Guard

When she arrived back home, Amber was surprised to find out that Daisy had paid all her medical bills, and now assigned her to be a personal guard. Amber skinned and tanned the catavoige she killed as a trophy. She wanted to interact with Daisy more, but her position bound her to being strictly professional at all times. She resigned to a life of never being able to know Daisy more, before Daisy got frustrated and kissed Amber one night. Daisy hid in her house in shame, but Amber coaxed her out with promises that she wasn't angry, and wanted to spend time with Daisy without being confined by their social statues. Daisy agreed, and they started to lead a sort-of double life, spending time and having small dates in secret.

As things started to get more serious, rumors started to go around. Daisy was summoned by her parents to come to the capital for country discussions, and she went with Amber. After the meetings finished, Daisy stayed a few more days. Amber decided to make her move. She invited the Archduke to an early morning hunt, and while out, asked him for his blessing to marry Daisy. He was hesitant, only caring if she would be a good co-duchess but decided she had shown enough competency, and agreed. The next morning, one of the servants discovered her and Daisy making out in the bedroom. About the time that the servant was going to tell the Archduke and Archduchess, Daisy beat them to it, confessing everything. The Arches said they care about the future of the county, and whatever Daisy chooses must not interfere with her work. Daisy was excited to continue their relationship, as was Amber, who was planning to propose when they got back to Muldrow.

The Attack

When they got back, Daisy appointed a few more maids to take care of the manor now that Amber lived there, as well. But Daisy got too caught up in her thoughts of the neighboring country, which had been making a lot of threats lately, to focus on Amber's hints of wanting something more. As Amber tried to comfort her, she ate the food that Daisy refused, before becoming extremely sick. As they realized, they got Amber to the hospital immediately. The dish had poisonous belladonna berries. The manor was locked down as the investigation started, and Daisy spent time in the hospital. Amber was in very bad condition. It was a lethal dose for someone of Daisy's size and it was threatening to take out Amber, as well. The investigation showed that one of the maids was an assassin from the neighboring country, Rasksha, and she was arrested. Amber barely clung to life, slowly regaining her health back. Daisy took a stand against Rasksha, exposing them to the Archduke and Archduchess for their attempted assassination.

A New Chapter

Almost fully recovered, Amber tried to return to her work at the guild. She was paged to the Grand Master's quarters, who told her that he had watched her grow up, and although he could never show it, he was proud of her and was happy to see her accept herself and grow in the ranks. He encouraged her to take a break for a while from the guild to focus on more important things. Amber agreed, taking her ring and meeting Daisy on the hill, where she proposed. Daisy said yes.

Amber was then crowned a co-duchess. She joined Daisy in a traveling ceremony, giving speeches in other countries. She appeared near her home town, and saw her brother after all the years. Her mother died of old age, and her father never showed. She traveled back to Muldrow, ready to live the rest of her life.
