Planet Mercury, a somewhat retired god in the Solar System. He works hard to keep his planet in check and looks out for the other gods, particularly the newer ones, but his days of hunting down threats or exiting the solar system to explore and defend are over.
Now adays, Mercury takes more of a mentor role, or a simple story teller. He is gentle and patient, giving his advice and waiting to see if it comes to fruition. He was one bold and bullheaded, running into any danger he could, so when he sees others acting similar, he understands. They’ll learn eventually not to be too bold.
...He still respects the hard work of those like Planet Venus or Pluto, though. Without protectors like them, the solar system would certainly fall apart. They once respected him similarly, and still show honor to the duties he used to fill out.
Mercury does not seek violence anymore, wishing for more peace and hope in the universe. He’s a gentle soul at heart.
