Profile
Alura
"The moon does not fight. It attacks no one; it gently influences. What other body could pull an entire ocean from shore to shore? The moon is faithful to its nature and its power is never diminished."
Alura was a little orphan living in the village of Jafuio Lazaz. She was small for her age due to undernourishment in her developing years, but despite this, she still wanted to prove she was strong enough to make it on her own. In order to prove herself she tried her hand at advanced magic early on in life, which eventually led to the cracking of her horn.
The Elder of Uälakafelth took notice of her reckless but strong show of magic at such a young age. The Elder became Alura's patron and entrusted her into the care of Tåth, who assumed a protective but somewhat distant fatherly role.
Alura completed her elementary studies on her own as she found her peers tedious and unpleasant to interact with. Before she enrolled into the college she crafted a silver horn both to hide her cracked unicorn horn as well as a method to slow the magic leaking from the breakage. She also perfected the disguise of a taller, bustier version of herself so that the other students would take her more seriously.
She met Taj while searching the Dana Futsa Labyrinth for a Cartography tome that was said to contain a constellation map that had been banned by the Elders at the start of the Second Age. Together they go on a quest to find this ancient tome so she can complete her Thesis.

Silver Horn Cap [ Seal ]
This magically crafted Sterling Silver unicorn horn fits over Alura's cracked horn and aids in slowing the escaping magic that leaks from the cracks in her horn. The fit is an effectively tight seal, but she must be extremely careful when removing it to prevent the horn beneath from cracking further.
Moonstones [ Magic Enhancement ]
She has decorated her wings and pendants with shards of Moonstone; gems that are essentially super-charged stores of magic for Clokies. Between these stones and the Silver Horn Cap she wears, she doesn't suffer as much from magic depletion as other Clokies with cracked horns would.

Father Figure
Tåth
Tåth was entrusted with raising Alura. He's fond of her but doesn't have quite the disposition to be a doting father. She takes great pride in herself when she's made an accomplishment where he takes recognition of her work.
Lover
Taj
They make an odd pair; a hard-working student bent on earning a Halo and a delinquent Blemished boy who can't stay out of trouble no matter where he goes. Dysfunctional but determined to work.
Sister
Aurora
Aurora was the moon and stars in her little sister's sky growing up. After Aurora left for schooling and her parents passed away, Alura nearly lost hope of ever seeing her sister again.
Awkward Step-Parent?
Jäâjäâ
Alura's relationship with Jäâjäâ is slightly strained. It's not that she doesn't like the other, it's just that for so long Tåth only ever had to split his time between Alura and work. But now there's this new lover taking up her family down-time.
