The Guardian

Species: Novaborn

Age: Uncertain, at least more than 100 000 years.

Occupation: Protector of the Dreamrealm. 

Weapon/Artifact: The Ierospteron.

A very powerful sword forged from one of Alryrae’s feather and infused with the Primal Star essence. Can cut through and dissolve demonic and dark energy with incredible ease.

Abilities: 

Nova Fire: Can produce and manipulate a blueish cosmic fire of incredible heat. 

Likes: Collecting small items, observing stars, making small figures out of nova fire.

Dislikes: Demons, noise, intruders, lack of discipline.

A low rank Novaborn belonging to Alyrae’s Court that was put in charge of guarding the Dream Realm thousands of years ago. He performs his duty very seriously.

Despite his low rank, his ruler always saw something “peculiar” in him and his behaviors that differentiates him for the other members of his species. 

Like most Novaborns of his rank, he has not been given a name, only being called after his purpose. He stayed alone in the Dreamrealm for thousands of years, watching over the previous Dreamkeeper as they were in a constant, unmoving trance-like state, and was seriously affected by the fact he wasn’t able to protect them in the end. He has a very stern and serious demeanor and doesn't like to mess around and often resort to fighting to solve issues. 

•Likes to collect the small mortal items and gadgets that Dreamkeeper often brings him, and often tries to understand the functions of those "artifacts" that are completely alien-like to him. 

•Is incredibly fast and has impressive reflexes.

•Is actually a bit curious to learn more about mortals and how they function, but very rarely get to interact with them.

•Likes when things are neatly organized.

Relationships: 

•The Dreamkeeper: He was clearly not fond of the new Dreamkeeper at first, but he warmed up to her a bit over the time. He still tends to be easily annoyed by her weird antics and actively despise when she leans toward her demonic nature and wish she would focus more steadily on her duty.

•Hamal: He doesn’t really approve having him hiding in the Dreamrealm and always keep an eye on him and watch his every move.

•Alyrae: His ruler. He highly respects her authority and was really honored to be chosen by her as the dream guardian. 

•Sulafat: Tries to ignore his obvious hatred towards him and respects him as one of his hierarchical superior.
