ABOUT

Mason is like the big sister you'd want to ask advice from. She is loyal to her people and to those close to her, doing whatever she can to avoid repeating her mistakes from the past. She may seem indifferent to everything around her, but in reality she is reserved and keeps most of her thoughts to herself. She is very supportive and offers help to those who reach out to her, willing to give advice regardless of the subject subject. Due to the tragedy in her past, her childlike nature has all but left her, in no small part to the scars on her face which she gets defensive about whenever somebody mentions or even stares at them. While she'll never admit it, a part of her still blames herself for the death of her childhood friend.

BACKSTORY

Mason grew up in the same village her entire life, dreaming of going on adventures when she was a young girl. She took every opportunity she could to sneak outside the village walls with her friends. One night, they headed out while their parents were all asleep and went off to play in the forest. They were suddenly attacked by a dinosaur that killed and ate one of her friends, while leaving behind permanent scars on her face. While Mason and the rest of her friends managed to survive the incident, it left an impact that had changed her forever. She grew from a girl that loved adventure to a more serious and hard-working Dinoback Rider who dedicated herself to protecting her village. She had chosen her Styracodactylus when he was a baby and named him after her old friend, Preston.

• Her design was inspired by Bea from Pokémon.
• Since other Sabers in the series are exclusively villains, she was created to balance them out.
