Sam Reilly

Backstory:

Born to the famous Hearts midfielder, James Reilly and his loving wife, Sian Hamill, Sam was basically raised around football. He constantly attended Hearts games as child, just to watch his father play. James has always been Sams hero. At the age of 4, his parents both divorced, and he moved to live with his mum in Niddrie, Edinburgh. Every week he visited his dad, where he would train him and talk to his son about football. It was then when James signed him up to the Hearts football academy.

Sian and James supported their son within his football journey; always going to each of his academy matches. Even though they were divorced, they both tried to support Sam equally within his life.

When Sam was 8, Sian remarried to a man named Tom, and they had a daughter named Emily. Sam tried to be the best brother ever for Emily, which she is so thankful for even to this day. But Tom soon took a dark turn, often lashing out at Sian. The young Scotsman did his best to always protect her, which ended in ███ █████ ████████ █████████ and suffering a scar on his abdomen, which is still visible today. 

At 16, Sam became Hearts main striker, constantly scoring and finding the name for himself among the fans. He continued the Reilly legacy in Edinburgh. Then, Sevilla came forward and offered a 16 year old Samuel a contract. After some thinking, he agreed and joined Sevilla at the start of the 2016/2017 season. Now, he carries over the Reilly legacy to Spain - and he's going to show La Liga his true potential.

He met Lukas von Bergen before a league match after years of not seeing each other, they have been together since 21/12/2021.

Personality:

Sam is a fun, outgoing, loud and confident man. He's always up to drink or smoke with his friends. Although his exterior seems open, he is very much hiding things from most people, from his relationship to his childhood. He is not afraid to hurt those who get too close. As Sam comes from a poorer background, he understands the troubles that many suffer, and this reflects with his buying preferences. He's not one for fancy clothes. He runs a street football charity on the side named Boxfox, with his friend Arthur, that runs as a help point and an animal shelter charity. He has good relations with Jules Koundé, Ivan Rakitić, Scott McTominay, Andrew Robertson, and obviously, Lukas von Bergen. He is diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and IED, which Lukas knows about, and helps Sam navigate with support and love.
