Hijynx is Caph's "companion" for lack of better terms. As Caph isn't one to really show or even have deep emotions Hi has proven that he will stick with her until the end of the world, which it quite possibly is. It's uncertain if he loves Caph as opposed to having a deep baseless loyalty, however he sticks by her side as both a friend and lover regardless of her actions. His affection is occasionally returned, and he never turns her away. He doesn't care only for Caph however, he cares more about the well-being of all the others who happen to cross his path probably more than anyone else. Every few months, he'll organize a survivors search to clear neighboring areas and invite any survivors to stay in Dante. Recently, he has been assisting in some efforts to clear and fortify other townships outside of Dante in the hopes of expanding the amount of living space and productivity of the Dante residents. Since arriving in Dante, he has called no other place home. He feels it is his place to take care of the town come hell or high water. Though he travels out, it is always temporary. Without fail he has done everything he can to make it both welcoming and strong for all that live there or pass through and would guard it with his life.

Before Caph, Hijynx was Piotr. The middle child of seven, he was often overlooked. Not a troublemaker, but not the golden child, he floated through a rather dull childhood. Getting a bare minimum scholarship, he managed to get into a local college and worked at a local diner to pay his way. The diner was a great escape, coming from such a large household, dealing with customers seemed easy, and to top it off he often got free food. He majored in accounting and went to work as a CPA. Life was simple, and most of Piotr's hobbies included cooking and reading.

Piotr never had a serious girlfriend, possibly due to (WIP)
