Sage ★

     Sage is a lovable Borzoi/Bird hybrid who wants nothing more than to be a lazy lap dog. Obviously she's too big for that, but she lives happily with Elliot as a sort of farm dog. Elliot keeps all sorts of mythical creatures as rescues. From the smallest toads to the largest gryphons and unicorns, you will always find animals being rehabilitated there. Of course, when the creature is rehabilitated, Elliot makes every attempt to release them back into their natural habitats.

     Sage was found as a young puppy, abandoned in the woods with her 3 siblings. Elliot didn't have a lot of experience with this species, and relied on her grandfather and friends to raise them. Once the puppies were old enough, she rehomed the siblings, but grew attached to this easygoing and cuddly pup.

      Sage is responsible for protecting the smaller rescued animals and keeping the larger animals corralled and comfortable. She's often found cuddled up with whatever creature will let her. Being a rescue herself, it's as if she feels a connection to them. She loves spending time with Sunniva and will follow her into the town during her deliveries.

Though she has wings, she is not able to fly. Elliot tried to teach her, even pairing her with a Pegasus for some time, but as she was unfamiliar with the species, she was unable to properly teach her.
