ABOUT
Rye "Nine" Lamb is the supervising mortician of Lambgrove Mortuary. Highly skilled in funeral services and mortuary science, they are considered an expert in their craft and a knowledgable mentor. After being given a second chance at life under unknown circumstances, Nine's only wish is to now lay others to rest peacefully. Due to their undead nature, Nine tends to seclude themselves within Lambgrove Mortuary, only leaving the cemetery grounds in order to provide services for grieving families or for their loved ones.

On the night of the red moon, encased in the lonely and seemingly dull coroner's refrigeration unit, resides the deceased body of Rye Lamb. Fully awakened by the mystifying power of strange necromancy and with the only recollection of their past being their name, the newly resurrected zombie takes the opportunity to escape from the coroner. Returning to their mortuary, a place of high familiarity, Rye Lamb immediately resumes their work in aiding grieving families and the recently deceased. (TBA).
TRIVIA
- On nights where the moon shines crimson, Nine undergoes a transformation into a ravenous, mindless monster.
- Due to being once dead, Nine has the obvious features of discolored fingertips/toes and a Y-autopsy incision along their chest/abdomen.
- With their love of lambs, Nine owns a flock of orphaned lambs within their mortuary grounds and tends to care for them during their free time.

RELATIONSHIPS
Esmeralda Swyne| Spouse?•
Once married back when Nine was alive, Esmeralda was more than a bit frazzled upon discovering that her spouse had resurrected into a new form. Due to her own troubled feelings, the two decided to remain as business partners, despite also heavily yearning for each other. Their relationship has mended since then but may never reach the same level as it used to be.
Celestino Castillo| Apprentice/Partner•
To say Celestino’s and Nine’s relationship started off as a complicated one is an understatement. With many of his advancements rejected at first, Celestino’s relationship with the mortician had blossomed into something rather unexpected. As the bond between the two has grown stronger than one may have anticipated.
Blair Woods| Apprentice•
Being Nine's first apprentice, the mortician is tasked to train their pupil to become a highly skilled embalmer and funeral director. Despite their close mentor/apprentice bond, Blair often feels as if he could never be on par with Nine, often having their own insecurities with imposter syndrome take over. Even with those negative thoughts clouding the apprentice's mind, Nine heavily values Blair's passion for the industry and is more than honored to teach him it.
Astra Winters| Coworker•
Astra and her first experience with Nine was rather negative to say the least, despite needing an extra hand in the prep room, Nine would of rather died (again) than hire another embalmer. After a lot of convincing, Astra finally had gained the chance to show off her own knowledge with embalming and restorative arts.
