Astra is ambitious with what she does and usually receives praise in the work she puts in. Despite her serious and quiet demeanor, she can be generous and quite funny through her sarcastic, and sometimes, dark or nsfw humor. Astra will show this lightened-up side of her, depending on the colleague she will interact with. Even though Astra knows work boundaries, she's not hesitant in calling out unreasonable words or actions of others, no matter their status.

- The gladiolus flower signifies death, but also strength. Astra believes even in tough times, people have the ability to persevere.
- Astra's favorite animal symbolizes rebirth and regrowth. This is not only a reference to her occupation, but also her belief on reincarnating into another life.
NINE Boss
Astra and her first experience with Nine was rather negative to say the least, despite needing an extra hand in the prep room, Nine would of rather died (again) than hire another embalmer. After a lot of convincing, Astra finally had gain the chance to show off her own knowledge with embalming and restorative arts. Unfortunately for her, this also came with the mortician being very observant and critical of her work. Every now and then, Astra is lucky enough to hear at least a few praises from them. Perhaps the mortician can eventually let go of the haughty attitude and finally appreciate the work she does for the mortuary.
Just like her colleagues, Astra doesn't know much about Esmeralda as she's not seen on the property very often. Only aware of how Esmeralda is the owner to the mortuary, Astra is willing to get to know her more and become acquainted. While others may be intimidated by her and turn the other way, Astra feels the opposite.

Unlike Nine, Blair was more than happy to finally work with another embalmer. The more teachers the better! Despite being the mortician’s apprentice, Blair is not afraid to seek out advice from Astra, as he firmly believes that she’s just as good as a mentor. Blair doesn’t approve of Nine’s attitude towards her, but would never find the guts to ever bring it up with them.
Although there has been a few sarcastic and humorous interactions with one another, the relationship between Astra and Celestino is very neutral as they both hardly see each other, due to being in different departments. Hopefully their relationship can expand more once Celestino learns more about embalming or when work needs Astra to help with pickups.

Despite the constant chaos in the house from this cat, Astra still has immense love for her, taking care of her and occassionally letting her out throughout the day. Being that Astra lives alone, Pumpkin is there to keep her company through thick and thin.
