Saigo

Saigo is the last guardian of the Doors that separate the mortal world to the world where all the souls of the living goes after death. This realm of souls is coveted by a lot of demons who want to devour the souls and absorb their power - that's why the passage going through the world of the living to the world of the souls needs to be guarded by ferocious creatures. It is said that Saigo, also called the Last Door, is a spirit ascended to the rank of demi-god. Them and the others Guardians are granted huge powers to fight demons and malicious spirits. Saigo guard the last door, meaning they are definitly the most bored of the guardians, for threats who manage to go through the other doors are rare, and usually half-dead when they reach them.
