Combat

Mion is a Navigator with no means of offense or defense, and this causes him great stress to have to rely on others during combat. Since his skills lies in the support categories, he doesn't have much proficiency in them as he has had no opportunity to develop them since he awakened Yamabiko.

Personality

Mion often gives an initial impression of a surly teen with a directness that barely has a functioning filter. Unlike many of his schoolmates, Mion has difficulty relaxing and taking time for himself. He is ofen lost in his thoughts and will make no effort to fill any awkward silence. Allthough, he hates it, some humor may leak out of him via Yamabiko.

Mion struggles with delegating, and prefers to do things by themself rather than having others mess up. He prefers to avoid mistakes in his decision making so he tends to be as objective as possible—setting his emotions asideto avoid any bias. He expects others to do their very best—their maximum/ optimum effort—-and will definitely complain at any blunder that occurs. This complaining, however, is how Mion shows his concern. In battle, he is constantly checking up on others and really wants his teammates to succeed.

Trivia

• Mion has moved many times throghout his childhood—never staying for too long in any given city. Sumaru is the one city he and his family refuses to go to due to painful memories and losses associated.
• You can often see him in a jean jacket that has been patched up in places. This jacket originally belonged to his sister, Samiko. He's the one that sewed the patches in.
• Along with his siblings, Mion has poliosis. It affects his hair, mostly on the left side.
