Yamabiko
Yamabiko is the yōkai responsible for carrying mountain echoes. They are known almost solely by their voices, capable of mimicking any sound. Yamabiko are small, appearing like a cross between a dog and a wild monkey, and arms outstretched as though it is caught mid-shrug.
As Mion’s Persona, Yamabiko provides navigation skills within Cognitive Pockets.

- He is often referred to as Gom by Mion and the rest of the Pack. He might answer the Pack if they call him a variation of his name (i.e. Yama, Biko).
- He rarely moves his mouth when he speaks—think of ventriloquism.
- Interact with him enough and you’ll be listening to a distorted version of your voice, that includes both Personas and Users.
- He is at his most vulnerable while he is Navigating since he locks his limbs in place.
