Honey

Honey is from a futuristic setting, and she works as a space mercenary. She works every job from shipping stolen artifacts, to taking out cheating lovers, to stealing life fortunes, and everything else that falls between. There's very few jobs that she wouldn't take. Honey is always accompanied by her unwilling partner, Bones, whose soul is bonded to Honey's cursed knife.

Appearance

Honey is 6'6" with a petite frame and face, though there's something about her facial structure that hints that she's not completely human. She's unnaturally thin, edging on looking malnoirished. Her skin is unnaturally white, like she paid for it to be pigmented that color. Her head is shaved on the sides, and she typically styles it into liberty spikes.

Honey is unnaturally light, and weighs herself down with protective, weighted garments, which work like Kevlar, but are much less bulky. Honey’s personal style can be compared to Extreme Black Metal meets Futuristic Punk. Her favorite items of clothing are her black leather jacket (complete with spikes) and her reinforced boots (the same ones she wears on missions). She really looks like she was yanked out of a violent mosh pit, complete with the bloody nose, ripped clothing, and a hoarse voice from screaming.

When Honey isn't on a mission, she can typically be found wearing. . .

• Prison Uniform — for the few times that Honey was captured in her youthful years. a light blue prison uniform that has strong, velcro clasps instead of buttons or zippers. Underneath, Honey has a plain, gray shirt, and matching gray shorts. Her shoes are white, and are laceless slip-ons.
• Leisurewear — when Honey is relaxing, she’s typically plugged into a VR system and is staring sightlessly at a wall, mouth open, and making minor, reflexive gestures as she plays racing simulators. or blazes through another hoard of shambling mutants. or farms corn in a quiet community game. etc. anyway she typically wears her company issued "relaxation uniform" (basically sweatpants + a sweatshirt) with a tank top. She seems to be perpetually cold, so she’ll typically be seen with either a thermal shirt on, or several warming patches slapped onto her forearms.
• Ops Outfit — for missions that require full coverage. Imagine a basic futuristic sci-fi outfit for special ops units.

Honey doesn't have any (permanent) tattoos, but she does have an array of body/facial piercings which can be swapped out depending on her mood. For example: going from a face full of black jewelry with double bridge piercings, stretched lobes and piercings up to the cartilage, snakebites, dimple piercings etc. . . and then going back to just wearing one dangling earring. Changes dont result in any healed up holes or scar tissue — almost like her body does a total reset. Her eye color and hair color are also optional to change — though her hair typically stays white. Her only constant features are her bleach white skin and demi-pointed ears.

Personality

Honey has -3 morals and is obsessed with the feeling of power. She loves the thrill of living. When fighting, she'll often applaud her opponents for using impressive tactics such as utilizing their environment, or learning Honey's weak spots. Honey thrives on being challenged, and even though she may come out of a fight unnecessarily bloodied, she always wins.

When she's not fighting, Honey has a relaxed attitude. She enjoys working in a team, and genuinely enjoys her job. Honey understands why people have problems with stealing historical artifacts or assassinating people, but that's not something that bothers her. She mostly spends her free time playing VR games.

History

Growing up, Honey had a normal life. She doesn't have a traumatic backstory where she was stolen as a child, or where her parents died — they're still alive, though they haven't spoken with Honey in years. Honey is just the type of person that thirsts for the thrill of living, and working as a mercenary provides that for her. It pays well, she travels for free, and she gets the thrill of feeling powerful.

While on a job 'recovering' old artifacts, Honey found a knife with a bone blade which was rumored to have been cursed. Of course, Honey kept it with her and smuggled it out — since it's made of bone, leather, glue, and wood, the advanced scanners don't register it since they would only be looking for metal weapons. Through unknown means or reasons, she killed Bones — another merc who Honey barely knew — and he was enslaved by the blade. Bones has been Honey's unwilling servant ever since.

Unique Abilities

• Unnaturally Light: what it sounds like — Honey is unnaturally light, which is why she weighs herself down with protective padding and her heavy shoes. If she was wearing plain clothes, she would be incredibly easy to lift.

Relationships

Bones

At the moment, Bones is enslaved and bound to Honey's cursed knife — a ritual knife made out of a jawbone with necromatic powers. He's extremely resentful toward Honey for killing him, and wouldn't hesitate to kill her if given the opportunity. Honey feels like Bones is a useful tool, and she's constantly pushing him to become better and stronger. She delights in having a tool that can carry out her orders, and knows that Bones loathes her.

• When fighting, Honey tends to bodily slam her enemies, literally throwing herself against them.
• Honey's other weapon of choice is a whip. She has a custom one which doubles as a beating baton with a retractable cable for whipping. The cable can be electrified to pack an extra punch.
• Honey's body has a titanium skeleton and bitter tasting blood because [spoilers].
• The 'totally white skin' mod was one of Honey's first body modifications. Bruises and other injuries stand out against the white skin in stark contrast, which she adores.
