Lucida, just like any other angels, is obedient to whatever the higher-ups told them to do. They are very diligent in their job and make effort to clean up the observatory during off-duties.

However, one day, a group of teenagers- in four, at least, broke into the observatory as a joke while Lucida was still in it. Long story short, Lucida came curious of mortal life and what it feels to be living as a human. The group promised them that they'll hang out every once in awhile. And they did! The group hang out with Lucida every once in awhile, showing her games, human items, stuff like that. And this became a weekly thing.

However, the higher-ups did not like about Lucida slacking off. They confronted her about it and at the end of it they were... On thin ice, really. They'd get "terminated" (equal to getting killed) or cast out of heaven.

Lucida made up their choice. They broke off their "horns" (The star shaped crystals on their head), making Azrael lose connection of them for good, and essentially, they quit their job and became a fallen angel. Now, they wander around Earth and hanging out with their new human friends.
