⇀ Kithood

Many moons ago, before the clans merged to DireClan, there was a young WispClan molly by the name of Shadepaw. She was out within the WispClan territory when she accidently fell into the stream, while she couldn't swim and she scrambled to try and keep her head above the water, it seemed the young molly would of been lost there and then. That was when a Loner by the name of Raven was within the territory. Quickly he swooped in and saved the young molly. She thanked him, and told him he had to leave before a patrol came. Although there meetings only became more frequent.

Although by the time she was a warrior, and the great battle against Potatothroat happened, it seemed her and her sister's prophecy was coming to light. After the battle Shadewhisper became mates with Blueheart, a fellow WispClan cat who she had grown up with. Although soon after the battle came the drought, and thus all the clans had to form together to become DireClan. It wasn't long after this where Raven came back into Shadewhisper's life. And thus she began to start seeing Raven more and more, No one knew about this, her sister, her mate, her clan. No one knew. And she continued to see Raven even when the clans seperated.

Once the floods came, and the clans decided that they needed to merge to three clans, Shadewhisper discovered that she had fallen pregnant. While she was seeing both Raven and Blueheart, she was sure the kit's were Raven's. And thus it wasn't long till the kits were born within the SmokeClan nursery. And sure enough, Shadewhisper gave birth to two black and white toms. While she was lucky that the clan and Blueheart all believed the kits were from Shade and Blue. Shadewhisper knew the kits were Raven's.

The two young toms were names Stingkit and Sharpkit, both named for their claws from when nursing and kneeding into their mother, and it wasn't long till the two would start to cause a ruckus within the nursery, and thus would have to play out in the camp, so they wouldn't disturb the other kits and queens. It seemed to them that they had a happy family, Shadewhisper was always there for them with a smile on her face, and Blueheart seemed to always be there with a smile on his face and teaching them everything he could. Although little did the two know their mother was plotting, plotting something.

By the time the two kits became 4 moons old, while nothing much had happened with them, it seemed that their whole world was going to turn upside down. Waking up one night to see their mother leaving the nest. They assumed she was leaving to make dirt and the two decided to follow her, wanting to bother her. It was then when out of sight and hearing, Shadewhisper told them who their real father was, that their real father was a loner called Raven, and that she was going to leave to find him. Then she continued to tell them that she didn't want them to follow her, and she wanted them to go back to their nest. While at the time the two didn't believe her, they went back to their nest, and fell back asleep. By the time they awoke they believed the whole thing was a dream, if it wasn't for when they came out of the nursery to see Blueheart causing a fuss, and Shadewhisper to be no where to be seen.

While Blueheart didn't seem to know what Shadewhisper had left to be with Raven, nor did he or the clan know that Sting and Sharp weren't his actual kits. Although Stingkit seemed to believe for some reason Blueheart knew all along and decided to keep it a secret from them. Just like their mother did. Which ultimately made Sting begin to become distant to his step father, and with Sting becoming distant, as did Sharp.

By this point the usually cheery and excitable young tom, had now become a angry and untrusting. Believing the only one he can really trust is Sharpkit, although even then, he still worries that Sharpkit would leave him. By the time the kits became six moons old, it was time for them to become apprentices. What was supposed to be a joyous time, only left Stingkit feeling somewhat empty. Still his mother hadn't come back, and the clan just claims that she had been killed by a fox while on a late night walk. Sting knew he couldn't tell anyone the truth, perhaps they'd go after her and kill her, or worse perhaps him and Sharp would be exhiled. So he kept quiet. Still keeping his distance from Blueheart, no matter how much the older tom tried to be there for the Sting and Sharp. Sting still couldn't trust him.

⇀ Apprenticeship

As 6 moons came around the corner, Stingpaw and Sharppaw were made apprentices, Stingpaw being the leader, Ripplestar as his mentor. Although Stingpaw didn't use this as a chance to stop him from causing trouble and sneaking out of camp. If anything Stingpaw and Sharppaw became worse.

At one point Stingpaw and Sharppaw made their way out of camp, planning to make their way to the twoleg place to find their mother, they didn't have anything more planned, but they were going to find her, although, as they crossed into RushClan's land, another apprentice met them, Wolfpaw. He was going to try and stop the twins, but the two twins had another thing in mind, at Stingpaw's word, Sharppaw attacked the RushClan apprentice, then at intervals Stingpaw would tap in to attack himself. They didn't let up till the medicine cat and a RushClan warrior came to the apprentice's aid. The two SmokeClan twins claimed it was self defence in their own cocky manner. Before quickly fleeing back to camp. They'd have to go to the Twoleg place another time.

As time went on the twins thought they had gotten away from their little crime. Although it'd seem that over time things would change for the two apprentice's. As they were called out within the gathering, as time went on, a huge arguement began to happen within the gathering, that ultimately ended up with their warriorship delayed and they weren't allowed out of camp for a while.

At first the apprentice's didn't let being stuck in camp stop them, using Rookpaw as a way to get out of camp, sneaking out through a hole the apprentice's found moons before, although the three of them didn't get far before they were brought back to camp.

While trapped within the camp Stingpaw was expected to help out around the camp, at one point he was told to look after Hazelpaw while the medicine cats were out, for a while the tom acted cold to the half faced molly. As he did with everyone. Although something about how she continued to talk to him despite his attitude was interesting to him, so he humoured her, and talked with her for a little bit.

It wasn't long till Mapleclaw happened to go missing. While it seemed there weren't many who were happy with her choice, it was even less time for Wheatpaw to end up dead. But days later, after Stingpaw and Sharppaw were allowed out of camp again, Stingpaw ended up wandering outside the territory once more, coming across a ginger tabby, at first all he could feel was rage as he attacked the tabby, not stopping until finally he realised what he had done, stepping back from the unmoving cat, he quickly fled, to wash off the blood from his paws, shaken up, he never wanted to do such a thing again. Silently he vowed he would change his ways. Not before he began to become distant, and quiet, quite clearly shaken up by something, but he'd never say.

⇀ Warriorhood

Days later after Stingpaw's attack on a loner, both he and his brother were made warriors, Sharppaw earning the name Sharpclaw and Stingpaw earning the name Stingfrost. Although Stingfrost couldn't celebrate like everyone else was, he was too guilt ridden because of what he had done, he couldn't ever forgive himself for what he had done

As the tom continued to avoid many cats he found himself being on a patrol with Figfall and Hazeldawn, the three went fishing, for a while Stingfrost remained quiet only talking when he really had to. But as time went on he really found himself enjoying the time he was with the two mollies, even when it ended with both Hazeldawn and Figfall in the water.

As time went on for the warrior, he found himself coming closer and closer to Figfall and Hazeldawn, till eventually he found that both of them were expecting his kits, he soon decided that he wanted to ensure he was there for all of his family, no matter what. His kits and his two future mates would mean everything to him.
