Profile
Stingpaw is well known for his lack of humbility and his loud mouth going on about how great he is. He's more than happy to throw himself into dangerous situations, his Confident nature could get him into more trouble than it's worth. He doesn't believe that even the guardians could strike him down for living his best life. This partnered with his Energetic nature could mean that his mentor could be in for more work than they'd be expecting. Stingpaw seems to just not stop at anything, he seems to have energy to just keep going on and on. This seems to do wonders to his Proud nature, as he will often gloat about how great he is. Not even failing at something or being scolded will hurt his pride, often claiming that it's all part of the process to his greatness. Say what you want about this little apprentice, but one thing is that once he sets his mind on something he is completely Focused on that one thing. Be it for good or for stirring trouble. Once he's focused on something it almost seems like he can't even think about doing anything else, it's almost like he's stuck in a trance. It's almost impossible to talk him out of things. The only one who has actually talked him out of anything was his brother, Sharppaw. Stingpaw is perhaps a little too Intelligent for his own good. He often takes things at a logical pace, rather than using emotions and feelings. Along with his Outspoken nature, he's not one for keeping his opinions to himself. He'll more than happily tell someone the ugly truth, and often do it with a grin on his face. He likes to question others to the point where it can get irritating to others.
As proud of his actions and as much of a god he believes that he is, Stingpaw knows when he's doing something he shouldn't be doing. He knows when someone shouldn't know about something he's done. His Deceptive nature allows for him to easily keep secrets from others, it allows for him to easily skulk in the shadows and lie to others about things. This along with his Avoidant nature makes him believe it's easy for him to do wrong and get away with it. He'll avoid his duties, avoid his training and avoid others by any means if he has to. He isn't one for facing consequences. He never had to as a kit, why should he start now. Stingpaw is well known for how Disrespectful he is to others, he has little to no respect for others and the guardians. Many could claim this as ignorance, and that he hasn't learnt the value of other cats and the guardians. But he's often running his mouth about them or spreading nasty rumours. Due to the majority of Stingpaw's kithood and how his mother raised himself and his brother, he's grown to be rather Selfish Often only thinking of himself and putting himself before others. The only cat that will ever come before him is currently his brother, Sharppaw. Stingpaw is known for being rather Hostile towards others, especially those from other clans, where he has been taught they can't be trusted, especially MoorClanners. He will happily cause drama at the borders, and if it came to it, he'd be first in on a skirmish. Additionally, he's known to not mesh well with others who come off as headstrong and leaderly themselves. He seems to want to be the leader of his pack and doesn't accept second best. With this he's known for being rather Irritable, especially when he doesn't get things his own way, often causing him to bad mouth more, and often at times having him leave to do things "His own way".

Shadewhisper, a black speckled molly of RidgeClan would find love during the great war between MoorClan and RidgeClan. The love of her life being Duskwalker, a black tabby tom. They fought side by side during said war. During the time it seemed there was nothing that could break them apart. Once the war was over they would now have time to finally spend with one another, quality time. And for the most part things were fine. But as time went on, their partnership started to show cracks. Duskwalker was starting to question his ability to stay within RidgeClan. He wondered if he wanted to bring a family into these clans, to him, they seemed unstable, unsafe. For he had just fought a war, and he wasn't sure if he wanted his own kits to live the same or similar life. While Shadewhisper, she was so sure that she wanted to raise a family within RidgeClan. RidgeClan was her home, it always had been and always would be. She fought for it, and she knew it was the safest place for her kits to live. Not long before Shadewhisper was due to meet her kits, herself and Duskwalker had their final arguement about this. It ending in their split, and with Duskwalker finally making the choice to leave the clan.
Alone with no mate by her side, Shadewhisper would give birth to her two sons, Sharpkit and Stingkit. She looked down at the two tiny mewling toms and felt her heart fill with warmth. She was going to be here for her kits, she was going to give them everything they ever wanted if she could.
As soon at the two kits were able to leave the nursery, they were already causing chaos within RidgeClan. Running around putting thorns and ants in nests. Trying to sneak out of camp. Teasing other clanmates. It wasn't uncommon for someone to be speaking to Shadewhisper about her kits, often telling her she needed to scold them. But she never had the heart to do it. Everytime she'd work herself up to doing it, she'd get to them and immediately lose the will to scold them. They were all she had left of her failed mateship, these kits were her whole world.
The only times Stingkit would ever sit and listen to their older clanmates was when they were talking about the hardship of the war. He would soon learn about the distain that RidgeClan had for MoorClan. Stingkit would soon learn that the other clans couldn't be trusted. Outsiders couldn't be trusted. It wasn't long before Stingkit would become very vocal about his own distain for outsiders of RidgeClan. Perhaps learning of his father leaving the clan played a small part within this. Although whenever anyone questioned about his thoughts about his father he would seemingly be unfazed by this, but would equally avoid the topic.
As the time for the two kits to be made apprentices drew ever closer, Stingkit knew that he was destined to fight. He was ready to fight just like his mother was when she played her part in the war. He would often be seen practicing his own battle moves without any prior training or technique, and any time anyone would try and give him pointers, he would shoo them away telling them that he was doing great without them and that he was going the be the best warrior that RidgeClan had ever seen.
Apprenticeship day was coming closer and closer and RidgeClan seemed more riled up and aggitated than usual. Words of the birds having gone missing within CoralClan's territory, and that MoorClan were experiencing trouble with a Wolf. This hardly affected Stingkit, although when he got the chance he would say how if that wolf entered RidgeClan territory, he would be the one to bring it down. Often partnered with the cats around him laughing. But deep down he truely believed that he would be the one to take it down.
The day arrived for Stingkit and Sharpkit to be given their apprentice names and for them to be given a mentor each. As they sat waiting, their mother was constantly grooming and preening them, frankly she wasn't ready for them to leave the nest, but she knew that she needed to let them grow up. Stingpaw was given __. Although Stingpaw believed that he should of been made a warrior and skipped the whole apprenticeship thing. His mentor isn't ready for the task that they have been given.
