The Elder Bat [Cloakat]

The Elder Bat is basically the leader of the Cloakat colony. He   spends a lot of his time monitoring their village and looking over his   people. He often holds competitions and practice sessions to keep his   fellow Cloakat in fighting shape. this is due to the Cloakats living in  a  world surrounded in constant danger, they're lucky they experience  it  less so due to the isolation of their off-desert shore island. The  Elder  Bat is generally referred to as so due to him being the oldest  known  elder of their village. Both his name and exact age is unknown to  most.  Some Cloakat that serve directly under him who've known him for  years DO  know his true name, but still respectfully use his positional  name  instead.

The Elder Bat comes off as looking and acting very   business-like and firm to-the-point with his work, but he does have a   lot of down time where he seems much more casual and less seemingly   uptight. He's not one to be afraid to act yourself around as he's had a   lot of time to learn to accept and understand people's differences. He   can be one of those characters where in a class-like session, he might   be very stern to help make sure his teachings go through but will also   be super goofy and funny or sometimes come off as ditzy or dumb   humorously. If anything, he's a good dad figure.

The Elder bat's   age is known to be over at least 200 years of age, which for 99% of   Cloakat is considered the "you should be dead by now" age, making   Cloakat question what is so special about him. The Elder Bat is also   known as the tallest known living Cloakat coming in at an astonishing   7ft sharp (not including his large ears). While most Cloakat barely  ever  get past 4ft, he has blown this statistic out of the water with  his  height. And to top this off, he has been gossiped to have used many   different types of powers, many different Cloakat have seen him cast   different power types over time, which is generally also unheard of.   Most Cloakat can cast about 2-3 power typing's tops while he has been   seen doing much more than what is common. Some Cloakat that are more   believing or close to their leader sometimes often refer or compare him   to some sort of demigod or miracle for this, however his humble nature   will push this kind of praising's off.

The Elder Bat often   requests tasks, errands and research of his fellow Cloakat to find and   log information about many different things. He may request a space   power based Cloakat to visit the stars for information on foreign   planets, or water  Cloakats to do catch and release on sea creatures  and  so forth, in exchange, he grants all under the village a safe  living  space and much more. Under special circumstances, he may also  help  Cloakat in many different ways, whether that be to mend/heal them,  alter  their traits, powers or other such helpful tasks. He makes sure  his  fellow Cloakat are healthy and happy.
