she took archery up as a hobby when she was young and learned to love it immensely. she took it to sport as a hunter eventually, which gave her a purpose and job at the castle. she was a loved child by all staff, especially the kitchen aids. one day, while goofing off with her elder half-brother fergus, she tried to juggle knifes like they had seen street performers do. it went horribly wrong and she ended up with a nasty scar down the left side of face.

she found herself in love with the idea of being a warden when duncan finally appeared before her. yet, she is immediately hardened and distraught by the events that follow. she leaves the ashes of castle cousland behind and begins her new life as a warden (yet somehow, despite all the trauma, she still manages to smile and be like her old self).
