- His outfit is primarily the Luxe hunter set, with some modifications. Artists may feel free to add studs and patches as they see fit; Benji DIYs his loadout frequently. The helm decal has been changed to be somewhat more humanoid, though with large fangs.
- The Tangled Web Cloak is the basis for his standard loadout's cloak, but it has much more fur around the shoulders and does not carry the Spider’s insignia on the back. The back is blank, but still tattered. He typically wears the hood down.
- The Exotic used for his arms are the Sealed Ahamkara Grasps.

Benji is a major piercing enthusiast. His earlobes are stretched to about 25mm; he has multiple helix rings; he has a single nose piercing; and he has spike-stud snakebites.
Wardrobe
The Head of the Wolf
To all but a select few, this helm is The Guardian’s Face. Ever since the Red War, he almost never removes it in the company of others, though he will not say why. Most have accepted this—it’s fairly normal to see always-helmeted Guardians, after all—but there is certainly no shortage of speculation among his admirers.
The Standard Loadout
Benji’s standard loadout for most operations. He prefers comfort over protection; as a primarily close-range fighter, his range of motion is his most valued attribute. He has customized it extensively with various patches and studs.
Aesthetic
Main aesthetics: torn jeans, high places, the feeling of terminal velocity ripping past your skin, bloody knuckles, the knife that wins the gunfight, fog and starlight, a leap of faith
As Benji’s Ghost, Red has been by his side his entire life. Red’s monotone humor often poses a stark contrast to Benji’s quick, goofy wit, but the two couldn’t be more in sync. They balance each other in all things… even if Red does end up writing most of Benji’s reports.
Rebirth
Red pulled Benji from a secluded, yet lovingly tended-to grave deep in the hills of the Reef. They took his name from his tombstone, though it carried nothing else of value to either of them.
- Benji has implied he may be pre-City Age, but he has never confirmed this formally.

Crow
it's complicated
They were born together, not in the way siblings sprout from the same womb, but in the way seeds grow together in a bed. They had been tangled before they became Awoken, and remain tangled still.
a time long past
Once upon a time, they were three: a Prince and his Crows; a trio tied together by fate and by love. Uldren, Jolyon, and Benji were inseparable, except for when duty demanded the sacrifice of distance. Theirs was a love unbound by time, woven across two lifetimes of uncountable years, first by chance and then by a benevolent God, for whom their devotion would be a convenience.
death & rebirth
A Crow falls. Three birds become two, and the two begin to grow apart, their grief driving them to make increasingly more foolish choices. And when the fallen Crow is found again, shortly before being obliterated and reformed by his new connection to the Light, what’s left of Uldren shatters.
vengeance
All it takes is one bullet. Benji pulls his helmet free as Uldren falls, and their eyes meet for the first and last time—two ghosts of men who once lived. Then, it’s quiet.
Cayde-6 is avenged. Uldren Sov is dead. Benji does not remember him. As far as Benji will ever know, Uldren doesn’t remember him either.

it's really complicated
The threads of fate are not so easily cut, not even after the erosion of untold centuries of grief. They can build something new out of the ashes of what they were. All it takes is a leap of faith.
The Breaking of the Flock
For Jolyon, home was four arms, two birds. They had been together since their birth-rebirth, since before they Were; they were the building blocks of his universe and the tether that set him free. Until they weren’t. Until fate conspired to put one of them into the ground, and the world ended.
The Black Garden
When Uldren found the body, he came unbound. When Uldren, unbound, threw himself into the Black Garden, reckless in grief, Jolyon followed, and he, too, unbecame.
Alone
In the years since, raven hair has become white, bleached by nightmares unceasing. In the years since, Jolyon survives alone. He is all that’s left.
He knows they’re out there—the corpses of his world, reanimated by a God he holds no love for. Some days, his heart aches to pull them together again. Some days, he watches them, down his scope. Sometimes, his finger itches as his sights pass over their puppeteers, but he does not pull. He does not pull.
Jolyon carries on, the epitaph of a love that once held the skies aloft.
