TJ's home planet Buerilia 7B, is composed of a strange water-like substance that hosts millions of different life forms of many shapes, sizes, colors, etc.
TJ's species, Mexophui, are one of many that can breathe in many substances due to their own compositions. They are similar to slugs or snails with very permeable inner and outer membranes.
They are very squishy, durable, and can easily move from planet to planet with no real issues, so many take jobs in planetary transportation. Some have multiple limbs, tails, webbing, etc in order to make swimming easier as well.
Also similar to snails, Mexophui are able to change sexes when needed in order to aid reproduction, so gender is very open and all over the place.
TJ has lived off B7B for a long time, hitch hiking for some of that time, but also being a Soar driver (space uber) in order to get money. She uses her ship as her home and work, so she travels around and explores the galaxy a bit. She goes to parties to pick up a chick for a night most of the time. Not much is known about her since she's only on planets for a couple days at a time at most.
She is a very reserved person and doesn't easily give out information, especially if she's evading police for whatever reason. She's a rebel womanizing alien, but she just believes that sharing is caring.. and you should share your personal belongings and women when it involves her.
